Recently revealed on toy designer/creator Peter Kato’s site, his trademark Turtle Tetsujins have been given a romantic make over just in time for Valentines day. Cast in see-through wine-red resin, the turtle’s familiar alien baby has been replaced with a customisable love heart chest- with the choice of either a letter from A~Z, a number from 0~9 , the shape of a heart , or the ? symbol hand painted by Peter himself.
Standing at 2.5″ tall, the figures are available to purchase through Peter’s site for $20 plus p&p. Be sure to order before February 1st to guarantee delivery before the big day…

And here is Turtle Tetsujin. Inspired by Gigantor, Hanna Barbara’s Frankenstein Jr comes my Big Turtle Mekka. He was built in a time of war to protect our world now from the alien invaders! He is incredibly strong , has numerous defensive capabilities & is loved by kids around the world.
A close up of his torso plate reveals the hidden secret to his awesomeness. There sleeping ever so peacefully is the alien baby known as ” Little Pea “. Some thought LP was either the controller or the power supply for the metal warrior. It turns out that this forever dreaming baby is the ” heart & conscience ” of Turtle Tetsujin.
This is why Turtle Tetsujin can never fail. He will never lose, he will not let any harm come to LP. You must go through him & he will never allow that to happen.
