January releases and new teaser from Super7…

The usually barron January is set to be a costly month for Super7 collectors this year, with not one, but five new releases over the coming weeks. Out today (January 12th) at Noon PST, the first to figures come in the form of “Early Morning” Garuru (Itokin Park) and “Sunburnt Yellow” Prick (Brian Flynn), both sporting a super-vibrant red, gold and umber spray on yellow vinyl. Retailing at $35 each, the figures will be available through the Super7 store here.

Next Thursday (January 19th) will see the launch of another two figures, Invisible Creature’s “Abominable” Leroy C, and Brian Flynn’s “Hues of Blues” DokuDuo, both coming in icy hues of blues, whites, and greens slightly more fitting for this time of year. The two of them will also set you back $35 a piece.

Last, but certainly not least, the “Green Hell on Wheels” Casket Cruiser by Josh Herbolsheimer is on target for release Thursday, January 26th. Featuring an exclusive Rose Vampire figure, the toy is set to drop for $65.

Unveiled yesterday, Super7’s latest 2012 teaser reveals two figures we’ve been dying to get our hands on since their preview at SDCC 2011- Brian Flynn’s “Crystal Mecha” and Josh Herbolsheimer’s “Fossilzilla” (prototype sculpts pictured below). No word as of yet regarding colourways, pricing or release dates, with just a brief mention that Crystal Mecha will be dropping sometime this fall. We’ll bring you more news as it hits…
