Richard Page over at UME Toys has just revealed his latest custom sculpt, ‘Radiation Suit’ Marty McFly. Created for Flatties‘ upcoming collaborative charity project, ‘Just in Time’, Rich was tasked with making a toy themed around the world of the legendary Back to the Future movies, using the memorable scene when Marty first touches down in 1955 as inspiration. With no medium restrictions, Rich was able to go to town on the figure, featuring his signature sculpt style, unique characterisation, and vivid choice of colours to beautiful effect. Anyone interested in purchasing ‘Radiation Suit’ Marty will be glad to know that he will be featuring in the Just in Time charity auction on Saturday, 9th June at the SHO Gallery…
PRESS// Just in Time is a new collaborative charity project which aims to raise money for Children’s Hospices UK – www.childhospice.org.uk. The project aims to promote artists and toy customisers work into the public domain while raising money for a worth while cause.
This is a great way to advertise yourself and help others at the same time.
The project is open to all platforms be it resin, vinyl, wood, plush, canvas or post-it note. What ever you like!
The only restriction is that it must be themed around the world of the legendary Back to the Future movies. All artworks and customs will be auctioned off and 50% of all sales will go to Children’s Hospices UK!
The artworks will be auctioned on Saturday 9th June. They will be on display at SHO Gallery in Cardiff for a week preceding the auction.
