MAN-E-NEWS// The H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series revealed…

After a tremendous response to our “Recruitment Drive” last month, we are proud to reveal details of the very first H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series! Featuring a varied mix of both new and established artists, we’ve been lucky enough to secure talent from as far afield as kaiju, resin, vinyl, plush (!), plus pieces from some of the mini figure scene’s hottest (and often overlooked) talent… A whopping 15 artists will be featuring in the first series, offering up a variety of original figures, bootlegs and kit-bashes based on the legendary 80’s M.U.S.C.L.E line. In keeping with our previous Min-E-Face/Ed Skworm release, you can also expect a hint of MOTU thrown in there for good measure!

H.U.S.T.L.E Preview Sets// The series will be debuting with exclusive Vs. preview sets from Peter Kato, Rampage Toys and Manny X, each coming with a companion figure from series creator, Tru:Tek. These will be going on sale throughout December/January in the build up to the main release. (more news on the individual drops soon)

H.U.S.T.L.E Artist Series Main Release// The official release is due to feature 12 different designs (plus a super-rare chase from Tru:Tek) that will be offered up ‘blind boxed’ in an authentic gatcha-style capsule with insert. 6 of each design will be cast in a M.U.S.C.L.E style flesh tone rubber, with just 3 thermal colour changing chases (making a total of 75 in the first wave). These will be going on sale in the Man-E-Toys store (plus an as-yet revealed shop/gallery at the end of January (exact date tbc) for just $15 each…

Confirmed Artists// Peter Kato (preview 2pack), Manny X (preview 2pack), Rampage Toys (preview and general release), Nama Niku, Adam Pratt, Josh Marlar, Jeff Beck (Menace Inc), Blurble, Tom Cameron (Blackgard), Hungry Imp, Killer Bootlegs, UME Toys, Taylored Curiosities and Tru:Tek.

We’ll leave you with a few work-in-progress shots from three of the contributing artists; Hungry Imp’s Ray Skull, Brutherford Industries untitled Hordak inspired piece, plus the rather awesome Battle Ready Ugly Cenicorn and Super CupCake Luchador from Rampage Toys! Stay tuned for more exclusive reveals over the coming weeks, and be sure to keep track of our new H.U.S.T.L.E production blog for up to the minute developments…
