Following the hugely successful Samus Aran (Metroid) sofubi, Nerdone returned to Wonder Festival at the weekend with their latest pair of fully licensed retro game figures, the adorable Konami Man and Konami Woman! Taken from cult NES platformer ‘Konami Wai Wai World’ (which strangely featured a cameo from The Goonies’ Mikey!), the pair have been cast in a pale, 80’s inspired ‘flesh’ soft vinyl. Unfortunately only available during one day at the festival due to the strict copyright conditions laid down by Konami, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for further editions (including a briefly mentioned keshi/eraser style version) soon…
