It’s been a while since we last heard from the otherworldly talented Daniel Yu, so it came with great pleasure today to find he’s just finished a whole slew of diverse pieces- the first of which we bring to you today in the form of this beautiful Ojisan custom sofubi! One of the most unique takes on the popular Grody Shogun figure to date, Daniel has opted out of the traditional hand-sprayed route, instead opting for a dizzying amont of additional sculpting and a super-vivid hand brushed paint scheme. No news as to whether this little guy will ever be available (we’re guessing he was created for a private commission), but if you’re interested in bagging a similar piece we suggest getting in contact with Daniel through his blog as soon as possible- the waiting list is already several months long!
