MAN-E-NEWS// The MOTU Jotun Troll custom from Ralph Niese…

Making an appearance as one of The Tarantulas‘ many guests at the Fishtank Castle LIVE ToyCon booth, the amazing guy that is Ralph Niese brought along a huge selection of Nerdone sofubi, Grody customs, Phantom Outhouses and sketchbooks, but it was one NFS item that caught our eye in particular… the MOTU Jotun Troll custom! Created as a gift for The Tarantulas, the jaw-dropping one-off piece was inspired by the infamous multi-headed Jotun Troll (a popular MIMP figure), created using various vintage action figure parts (including Star Trek arms!), a number of mini Polish bootleg He-Man heads, a gacha capsule (!) plus a copious amount of original sculpting. Painted in a rather apt ‘Faker’ inspired mix of turquoise, purple and orange, the figure features an impressive 8 points of original articulation… Ralph did mention he may consider retooling the design for a resin release, so as soon as we hear anything, you guys will be the first to know.
