Anyone who has ever had a glimpse at the Man-E toy collection will know about our certain soft spot for Star Case, so it came with much pleasure last week to find that the Star Wars fan site had unveiled yet another must-have sofubi release… presenting the adorable R-2! Once again focusing on playability, the nod to everyone’s favourite droid comes with a number of modular pieces including 4 head sculpts, 2 attachments and even a mini pilot nestled in the body! Priced at 6300yen (around $63), pre-order has unfortunately closed on the figure, so we suggest either hitting up Manadarake in the near future for a lucky resale, or patiently waiting for the next colourway on the Star Case site…
