In association with Lulubell toys and Luke Rook of Grody Shogun, Geoffrey Maxfield is proud to present the Gruin Kaiju sofubi Kickstarter! Heavily influenced by classic kaiju and Japanese sci-fi, the authentic paper clay-style soft vinyl figure stands at a lumbering 9″ tall, coming complete with articulation in both the arms and waist. Currently available through a number of different tiers, pledges for the campaign range from signed prints from the likes of John Santagada (starting at $20), a standard Blue/Purple colourway ($75 plus print set), a Kickstarter exclusive Black 2 pack ($120), plus custom paint job sets from artists including Max Toy’s Mark Nagata ($250 for the 2 pack plus 1 custom and print set). On top of all this, Maxfield has also revealed stretch goals for both GID and Cosmic Glitter colourways, so be sure to head on over to the project page right here and do your bit to reach them! The Gruin campaign is set to run until 4.31pm PST on Sunday, March 23rd…
