Once again sharing a booth at this year’s ToyCon UK, Jon Paul Kaiser and Rich Page of UME Toys have teamed up for a very special collaborative figure for the event… the murderous surgeon Buford Mandrake! Inspired by the real-life doctor of Charring Cross hospital, the 4″ tall piece was hand sculpt and cold cast in copper by Page, with aged, oxidised washes from JPK. Coming complete with the butcher’s infamous pair of masks (featuring interchangeable magnetic articulation), Mandrake has been limited to just 10 pieces, priced at £35 each. Dropping at the UME x JPK booth this Saturday, April 12th, we suggest acting quick on these or the doctor may just give you a bedside visit whilst you sleep!
