Originally teased in clay prototype form a couple of months back, the Ultimate Saikobi kaiju from Max Toy Co will finally be seeing its first release later this month! An upscaled version of the previously released Saikobi “Monster Boogie” sofubi mini, the Suzuki Works-designed figure has been sculpted by Pico Pico in his signature half-mecha style, coming in a little under 8″ tall and featuring 6 points of articulation. Pictured here in an unpainted tan soft vinyl, Ultimate Saikobi will actually be making its debut in an as-yet-unrevealed paint scheme, touching down at Tokyo’s Dai-Kaiju Monster Salon this coming Saturday, June 13th for an undisclosed sum. Keep a close eye on the Max Toy site here for a full, painted reveal plus details of the first online release soon!
