Plotting the genealogy of key beat samplers from the late 80s to 2009 such as the SP1200 and Maschine – marking the beginning, evolution, and end of music sampling hardware – the series’ final figure focuses on one of the music scene’s most recent additions, 2000’s Akai MPC 2000XL. Standing at around 3″ tall, the hand sculpted, cast and painted figure is available in 2 different colorways; “Beige”, coming with a mini Bob James Two record accessory, and “Blue”, complete with a Skull Snaps variant.
