Originally teased in prototype form a couple of weeks back, we can now reveal TTToy’s “Chupacabra” sofubi in-full! The fifth figure to feature in the officially-licensed IWA Japan sofubi series, the infamous reptilian has been faithfully realised by TTToy’s Makino-san, standing in-scale with previous releases at around 4.5″ tall and coming with similar articulation in the waist and arms. Debuting in an authentic metallic green, red and beige paint app, a limited batch of just 20 will be made available at Tokyo’s Gatomubu Korakuen Hall tournament for just 2,000yen ($16) each. Look out for a full, official release in the Hinomaru-ya store on Tuesday, September 1st. No news on overseas sales at present, but you can be sure that Lulubell Toys will secure a limited batch of the figure for western customers soon…
