Hot on the heals of last weekend’s lottery sale, Takahiro Komuro aka TKom has just revealed a special one-off custom “Gamaotoko” sofubi painted up by none other than Shigeru Arai of NagNagNag! Standing at a chunky 8.5″ tall and featuring articulation in the head, arms and legs, the biological beast has been treated to countless layers of multi-colored sprays, coming complete with Shig’s signature labour-intensive pointillist brush work. Whilst little is known about the fate of the figure at present, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that it’s a test-paint for a limited run soon.
