The MAN-E-TOYS/SoftoyHobby changeover…

First off, we’d like to offer a massive apology for our lack of coverage over the past few days! Whilst we have indeed been enjoying the holiday’s festivities, we’ve also been hard at work on some big changes for the Man-E-Toys blog, most importantly, it’s switchover to SoftoyHobby that’ll be happening later this week… Originally covering a wide spectrum of indie, primarily resin-based toys since it’s inception almost 4 years ago, the blog has since evolved into a more streamlined affair known for its exclusive western coverage of sofubi, keshi and mini figures. Originally titled Man-E-Toys as a refrence MOTU – a staple in the indie resin community – this new SoftoyHobby monicker will hopefully make things a little clearer to new readers of the site, whilst offering our valued long-time fans a little hint of what else is to come soon… On top of a new name and refined look, you guys can also expect regular exclusive updates from our editor-in-chief Tru:Tek’s Gory Hole imprint, ongoing tutorials in both toy production and painting, a regular retro toy feature (starting with an amazing piece from mega mini figure collector, Ed Crooks), plus monthly competitions in conjunction with our Instagram account right here… Look out for the changeover on January 1st 2016!
