Japan-based toy artist Oriha Kat has just revealed a follow-up to his first Killer Ball release “Da Ma Fukuwarain”, proudly presenting the super-gross “Pizza Face”! Once again inspired by cult 80’s toy line Madballs, the suitably “loose” looking sculpt measures in at an authentic 3″ wide (around the same size as a softball), coming hand cast in a squishy latex rubber and treated to a bootleg-style paint app in acrylics. Coming housed in an ingenious package inspired by Domino’s take out pizza boxes, we’re told to expect Pizza Face’s first release in these at Wonderfestival Winter 2016 early next month… But that’s not all! Joining the full-sized release, Kat will also be unleashing both “Da Ma Fukuwarain” and “Pizza Face” in mini keshi-form. Around half the size of the standard balls, these reduced versions have been produced in a bouncy rubber, coming both painted and blank in a variety of neon colorways. Here’s hoping Kat will finally start offering these amazing figures up to western customers soon!
