Candie Bolton has taken on fellow Max Toy Co stablemate Javier Jimenez‘ adorable Wananeko sofubi for her latest round of custom releases! Featuring both standard and “Baby” versions of the kaiju cat, the 5.5″ tall iteration – limited to just 1 – has been treated to a yokai-inspired paint app with Monster Kolor sprays and GID gouache detailing, whilst the mini-sized infants – limited to 3 – have been adorned in simplified version of the same neon/pastel sprays and black/glow brushwork. Going on sale through the Candie Bolton store today (2/19) at 6.30pm Pacific time, pricing for both standard Wananeko and the Wananeko Babies is still to be confirmed…
