Japanese retailer Yamakichiya have teamed up with Mountain Yoshiya Original Goods for the release of the first figure in their ongoing Future Monkey People series, ape astronaut おれヤマキチだべ (literally translated as Wood Yellowdrop). Standing at a lofty 9″ tall and featuring 5 points of articulation, the beautifully sculpted figure comes complete with a removable clear helmet, “SAL9000” rifle and companion small monkey omake. Debuting in an unpainted white sofubi for its first outing, Wood Yellowdrop will be touching down in the Yamakichiya store this coming Sunday, July 24th at 11am Japan time.
