Clocked over at Spankey Stokes this morning comes some interesting news regarding the Spongebob x Toynami x UNKL collaboration that was revealed at SDCC a while back. Featuring the cast of Spongebob re-imagined in Unipo form, the series of five figures, including Squidward, Patrick, and of course Spongebob, have finally been given the go ahead to be released officially at some point this year.
Unipo’s curvy design lends itself perfectly to the crazy underwater cast, but we’re praying that the crossover will extend to some of the bigger toys in UNKL’s range too- Giant Unipo Painty Pirate anyone?! More news as soon as it hits…
