MAN-E-NEWS// The Euranth resin figure from pe•cu•liar…

Jakarta based indie toy outfit pe•cu•liar are proud to present their debut resin figure, the gorgeous Euranth… Taking inspiration from the ‘strange’ including kaiju, myth, legend, surrealism and outsider art, the guys are focusing on releasing designs based on their own myth, a myth of Glandastern, with this initial figure representing the god of nature. Standing at around 5″ tall, the beautifully sculpted piece is due to come in a run of 10 hand cast and painted pieces (colour proto shown above). Further release details will be dropping soon, but in the mean time we’ll leave you with a little background info on the character…

“Euranth is the god of nature, keeper of the forests. It dwells inside the darkest forest of Skard, a forest which never located on any existed map. Once was shaped as (one eyed) white flower, symbolizing the sacred of nature. But as the hearts of Men filled with greed, damaging the nature, it started to bleed. It feels the pain, its wrath provokes natural disaster…”
