A disturbing mix of caterpillar and man, the partially hatched cocoon has been hand sculpted by the artist, standing at around 2.25″ tall. Cast in resin and painted in a suitably grim blend of crimson red and black washes, the figure comes housed in a 4″ glass specimen tube with removable cork.
