After months of painstaking planning and development, resin artist Tim Stephson over at Ultimate Skull & Cobra is proud to reveal that not one, but two monumental new figures will be touching down in his store later this week! First up, we have Stephson’s loving tribute to Godzilla, the King Kaiju. Inspired by the classic garage kits of old, this humungous piece features in excess of 40 separate hand sculpt and cast resin pieces, including individually assembled GID dorsal plates as well as magnetically articulated arms. Limited to an initial run of just 5 pieces – each coming painted up in their own unique colorway – the King Kaiju will be up for grabs at just $150 plus shipping- a snip when you consider the sheer amount of work that’s gone into each one!
Next up, we have the super-creepy “Uchu Kaijin”… Heavily inspired by HR Geiger’s extensive body of work, the gruesome alien baby has been designed and hand sculpted by Stephson, coming rotocast in resin – a first for USaC – with several additional layers painted internally for extra strength. Limited to an edition of just 4 pieces – each coming in their own unique colorway and packed with an original painting – the Uchu Kaijins will be joining the King Kaijus in the USaC store this coming Friday, March 27th at 7pm Central for just $100 each plus shipping…
