Our editor-in-chief Tru:Tek will be resurrecting the Gory Hole brand in time for a relaunch at DCon in November, bringing along the long-awaited first issue of the ‘zine, new apparel, a follow-up to last year’s bootleg monster rings, plus the debut of the brand’s first ever toy line… Warui Zonbi! Heavily inspired by cult horror toys the Ma-Ba Zombies – albeit with a modern twist – the series is set to feature a whole slew of soft vinyl finger puppets inspired not by the silverscreen’s classic monsters, but instead by the more obscure cult horror creatures that we ourselves grew up with throughout the 80’s and 90’s. With Series 1 featuring a total of 2 figures, we’re very proud today to be able to share with you the first… American Werewolf in London’s SS Werewolf! Heavily inspired by the cult horror flick’s strange dream sequence, the little guy has been re-imagined to closely resemble the “split torso” Ma-Ba aesthetic with help from Radioactive Uppercut‘s John Santagada, coming sculpted in-scale by the legendary Makino-san of TTToy at around 2.5″ tall.
