MAN-E-NEWS// The pre-DCon ’15 round-up: Part 2…

As promised yesterday, we bring you Part 2 of our Designer Con ’15 round-up ahead of crossing the Atlantic tomorrow to go to the event ourselves. Expect a final post detailing the remaining exclusives our very own Tru:Tek will have up for grabs later today, but apart from that, this will be the last you hear from us until we descend on the Pasadena Convention Centre this weekend…

Goccodo’s DCon booth// Master Japanese toy maker Goccodo will once again be making an appearance at DCon with a whole slew of figures from his back catalog. Joining the all-new Strong Smell Cyclops (pictured) in a neon green, the RealxHead Bearos, Astro Unkotsu and Kiaida-kun sofubi will all be joining the fray. Pricing, edition size and drop times are all still to be confirmed…

Errants carded sets from UhOh Toys// UhOh‘s adorable Errants sofubi will be returning for DCon in a deluxe carded set! Featuring all 3 characters in a variety of one-off hand painted colorways, each set comes packed with a pull-back car that can be fitted with an Errant head. Limited to 6 sets, these will be available from Monster Circus and Bwana Spoons’ booth (#1102) for an undisclosed sum…

The Mini Mockbats from Unbox Industries// The wait is finally over, Unbox have just revealed that Paul Kaiju‘s Mini Mockbat will be making its debut at DCon! Digitally scaled down from the original sculpt to around 3.75″, the fully articulated figure has been reproduced in a variety of different colored soft vinyl, with 4 versions available each day at the con for just $40 each.

Featuring the mid-sized Moon Goon, Space and Fungus Ree, Boss Carion, plus a whole heap of surprises, be sure to keep a close eye on Paul’s Instagram feed here for more reveals over the next couple of days…

The Rampage Warui Zonbi set// Whilst not strictly a DCon exclusive, we thought we’d share this hand painted Warui Zonbi set from Rampage Toys that Tru:Tek will have on display alongside the debut yellow edition- of which we can now confirm will be limited to 20 sets featuring both Selwyn and SS Wolfgang for $50 each. Look out for limited amounts on both days at Skinner’s booth…

Turbopistola’s DCon booth// Sharing a booth with Nikejerk this year, Daniel Smith aka Turbopistola has revealed that he’ll have a whole load of wallet friendly customs, resin figures, pins and more available, including the “Gold” edition Elephantos for just $20. Unable to attend the con? Then you’ll be glad to know that the tusked beast will also be available through the Turbopistola online store right here.

The DCon exclusive Kaibutsu Sets from KtoKto// Toy Art Gallery are proud to reveal that they’ll have a number of exclusive Kaibutsu (Monster) sets from KtoKto up for grabs at their booth (#1221).
