DOKURO SMOGBALL TCON

Our very own editor-in-chief Tru:Tek reveals the slew of goodies he’ll have available at UME ToysToyCon UK booth (#T3) this Saturday, April 29th

Featured runs and one-offs include-

  • “Dokuro King” Smog BallsSubmission Toy‘s homage to pollution kaiju and Madballs has been produced in a clear purple sofubi, coming with black and silver masked/free sprays, metallic red detailing and an orange keshi insert inspired by Takara’s classic Dokuro King. Limited to 10 painted and 10 blank, priced at £60 and £85 respectively
  • “Silver Strobe Mine” Oozeballs- Matching the recently released Smog Balls, the Oozeball gets the SSM treatment. Cast in black sofubi and treated to silver/purple sprays and metallic green detailing. Limited to 5 including a “Split” GID one-off, priced at £70 and £80 respectively
  • “Silver Strobe Mine” Warui Zonbis- Completing the trinity of Tru:Tek’s current sofubi line-up in the SSM style, the Warui Zonbis come with black, silver and neon purple sprays with metallic green painted detailing. Going on sale alongside a special TCon teal blank set with pink gacha-style bases, both versions come packed with matching keshi micros. Priced at £65 and £45 each
  • “Holo” Kamengo micro-run- TakePico x One-Up‘s sofubi mini comes cast in a neon green complete with dark green rub, silver, teal and neon purple sprays and hand painted detailing courtesy of Tru:Tek. Limited to 5, these have been priced at £40 each
  • “Tin Foil Hat” Telebobo micro-run- Tru:Tek takes on KaijuTAN/Unoblab’s OG Telebobo in his signature bloody style. Cast in a flesh soft vinyl, each has been treated to layers of crimson rubs, sprays and hand painted detailing with a hi-gloss finish. Limited to 5 (4 of which are for sale), pricing and exact release details are still TBC
  • “Pussy Patrol” Sons of Brodarr micro-run- Ahead of a special collab for Brodarrfest next month, Tru:Tek offers up his own take on Gravy Toys‘ OG Sons of Brodarr; Jeff, Lonny and Private Hooligan. Cast in a Japanese sofubi, each has been treated to layers of flesh, pink, mint green and teal sprays with subtle hand painted detailing. Limited to 6, priced at £40 each
  • “Bloody Disgusting” Primitive Monster micro-run- Cast in a white soft vinyl, Frank Mysterio‘s Mexican-produced monstrosity receives fleshy rubs and sprays for this release, finished with hand painted detailing and a slimy-looking hi-gloss coat. Limited to 3, priced at £95 each
  • “Bloodsucker” Gosaura one-off- Having the honour of painting one of the first of Planet X‘s latest kaiju, the orange-cast Gosaura has layers of flesh, dark purple and magenta sprays on top of a purple rub. Pricing still TBC
  • “Mecha” Duwa one-off- Held back from the recent Tru:Tek micro-run, this single Toysbian Duwa has been given the full Submission Toy treatment, featuring a mix of fleshy sprays contrasting against weathered olive metal-like acrylic dry brsuhing and detailing. Priced at £210
  • One-Off Koningus- Tru:Tek has painted up a couple of Ummikko‘s classic ape, coming in a dark blue sofubi with a selection of metallic sprays and hand painted detailing. Priced at £55 each
  • One-Off Uneasy Joes- The latest round of STKL‘s little guy as painted by Tru:Tek. Cast in a mix of pink, green and white sofubi, various one-offs will be available for £35-£40 each
  • “Plastic Police” Mutant Cop one-off- Violence Toy‘s slimy officer of the law comes cast in a muted green soft vinyl, coming with layers of crimson, black, gold and silver sprays over a detail-hugging rub. Comes packed with hat and baton accessories for £200
