Standing at around 9″ tall and featuring 4 points of articulation, the skull-faced beast has been cast in what looks like an ivory colored soft vinyl, coming with green, red and purple sprays over a detail hugging brown rub. The team over at Blackbook Toy have revealed that their collaborative sofubi with rock band Suicidal Tendencies – S”K”UM-kun – is returning in an all-new colorway dubbed “Venice Blue 2016” this week! Originally releasing back in 2011, this upgraded version has been cast in a similar deep blue vinyl, coming with masked green, white and black sprays, a full head of striped blue/black hair, an all-seeing eye belly button, plus the piece de resistance, a matching S”K”UM-kun bandana! Based on the yokai Ao Bōzu ( “Blue Monk” ) from Japan, the 3.5″ tall finger puppet-style figure has been produced in an unpainted milky white soft vinyl inspired by Nigori, an unfiltered sake that produces a similar cloudy appearance. NY-based artists Grizlli Atom and Bo Braiden have joined forces for the launch of Black Drove, a first-of-its-kind vinyl and resin show that’ll take attendees through a haunting dreamscape right in the middle of Brooklyn!
