Frank Mysterio’s first painted Frankball release…

Originally debuting in blank white soft vinyl just a few days back, the first painted version of Frank Mysterio‘s “Ugly Head” Frankball is now available online! Directly inspired by classic 80’s gross-out toy series Madballs, the piece, designed and sculpted by Mysterio, measures an authentic 3″ wide, coming injection moulded in a similar style to knock-off line the Monsterballs. Once again produced in white, the limited run have been sprayed in a mix of neon green and magenta over a detail hugging black rub, coming complete with contrasting yellow hand painted detailing. Priced at just $15 each plus shipping, the Ugly Heads can currently be found residing in the Frank Mysterio store right here

Frank Kozik’s SDCC ’16 exclusive one-off Hate and Ika Salarymen sofubi…

Frank Kozik has revealed that he’ll be bringing a ton of previous releases from his back catalog to SDCC ’16 next week, but it was one in particular that really caught our eye… a special round of Hateball and Ika Salarymen one-offs! Featuring both “small” Hateball and Ika heads, these are set to come in a swathe of mixed-part configurations, including random test colors, past releases, plus a couple of never-before-seen test shots (check out that mini plane body!) thrown into the mix. Going on sale at Kozik’s SDCC booth (#5139) starting Wednesday, July 20th, pricing for these is still to be confirmed…

Coming in at an impressive 12″ from head to toe, the undisputed Queen of Monsters will be available in 2 different colorways to start with, “Yellow”, with metallic teal/red sprays and a classic “Brown” with subtle dark brown lowlights. The guys over at Zoomoth are proud to announce the arrival of their first new keshi for the upcoming Wonderfestival Summer ’16 show, taking on the lead protagonist from obscure Hudson Soft shooter Star Soldier! The unnamed pilot of the game’s “Caesar” ship, the little guy has been meticulously sculpted to sit alongside Zoomoth’s previous releases with ease, featuring the familiar arms-out pose and standing in-scale at 2.5″. Due to touch down at WF on Sunday, July 24th alongside another as-yet-unrevealed figure, expect to see the little guy in a limited selection of flesh, green, blue and orange rubber for around 2,500-3,000yen each…

GEEK! x PicoPico’s Hanumaan at Medicom Toy…


First seen at Medicom Toy‘s recent 20th Anniversary show, the long awaited follow-up to Geek! and PicoPico’s Aztec God of Sun and Death – the mighty Hanumann – will be seeing its first release later this month! Based on the prominent Hindu god of the same name, the towering figure stands at a gargantuan 21.5″ tall, featuring wonderfully ornate sculpted detailing, 7 points of articulation, removable plate and staff accessories as we as a fully rotatable, double sided head. Produced in a white soft vinyl and treated to an authentic palette of blue, green, red and gold sprays, this debut “Advent” version will be going on sale via Medicom on July 24th for just 30,000yen plus shipping…
