Previewed earlier in the month, Brandt Peters‘ much talked about collaboration with Real x Head – the Astro-Bat – has finally been revealed in-full! As previously thought, the figure follows along the same lines as RxH’s previous collaborations with Paul Kaiju and MVH, featuring both head and arms attachments for the standard Chaosman body- albeit with a bat-like, Skelve twist! Likely to be making its first appearance at an upcoming Stranger Factory show (TBC), be sure to keep a close eye on both Brandt and Real x Head‘s Instagram feeds for more info on the figure soon…

TAN’s Pig Pig Man sofubi revealed…

Originally teased in clay prototype form just a few weeks back, the follow up to TAN‘s hugely popular Mimi Monster – the wonderfully grotesque Pig Pig Man – has just been revealed in soft vinyl! Drawing inspiration across urban legend and neo-kaiju, the beautifully sculpted figure appears to be much larger than Mimi at around 7″ long (TBC), coming with a flabby pig torso and appendages with a human-faced head akin to Jinmenken. With TAN currently experimenting with various paint apps (like the gloriously bloody version you see above), we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for the figure’s debut very soon…

The Galaxy People’s Design Fiesta exclusive “Drexyl” Cephlapod…

Brian Bunting of Galaxy People-fame had just revealed that he’ll have a run of Drexyl Cephlapods up for grabs at Design Fiesta this weekend! Cast in a bright yellow soft vinyl this time around, the aquatic GP vehicle has been fitted with feline space pirate Drexyl’s head, coming complete with layers of red, black and silver sprays with hand painted detailing. Going on sale at Design Fiesta booth #B-163 this coming Sunday, May 15th, a limited batch have been held back for online sales the following day (5/16) at 11pm Japan time…

Dubbed “Evil Mom”, the Frank Kozik-designed, T9G-sculpted figure has been produced in a mix of clear red and white soft vinyl with red, white and black sprays, coming complete with matching crowbar and “Maskie” mask accessories. Rampage Toys’ Design Fiesta exclusive Uglier Unicorn…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys is proud to announce that his Uglier Unicorn will be seeing its first official public release later this week! Sculpted by Splurrt based on Jon’s original Ugly Unicorn design, the mono-browed monster stands at around 4″ tall with articulation at the waist. Produced in a vibrant green vinyl for this latest outing, the figure has been treated to a bevy of stunning metallic green, flesh, red and yellow sprays in a similar vein to the previously released Pigumon version. Going on sale at Design Fiesta this Sunday, May 15th, a number of blank and painted versions will be held back for an online release the following Monday… Look out for news of more Rampage DF exclusives later this week!

Standing at around 5″ tall and featuring articulation in the arms and neck, the Minion-esque piece has been collaboratively produced alongside Secret Base in a GID soft vinyl, coming complete with masked purple, ice blue and red sprays. Always looking to push the boundaries, the guys over at Awesome Toy have just unveiled a rather unique-looking sofubi toy to add to their ever growing back catalog, the AT Piggy Bank! Inspired by a classic blow-moulded piggy bank from 1960’s Hong Kong (which in turn, was inspired by a similar injection moulded Canadian design from the late 50’s), the beautifully realised sculpt stands at just over 4.5″ tall, with articulation in the neck. Elusive sofubi producer Target Earth have just unveiled a total of 4 new figures up for preorder, a couple of which we know – in typical TE style – will be turning a few heads due to their striking similarity to some very popular products on the market right now! First up, we have the Parabola Ace. Based on the same fictional 1964 military ‘bot as HxS’ Brutal Ace, the towering figure stands at 11″ tall, featuring a similar smooth design, antenna head and red eyes, with the addition of a new chained ball omake (not pictured) for the princely sum of 17,000yen ($157)… Next, we have another figure you will have sworn you’ve seen before, Target Earth’s very own interpretation of the Machine Gorilla. Near-identical to Zollmen and Cosmo Knight Alpha’s version, the 12″ beast – based on a 2005 mini from Amapro – features a similar body shape, head and tower omake, albeit with newly revised claws and chest plate. Painted up in a gorgeous metallic pink over blue and brown vinyl, this guy will set you back 19,000yen ($175)… Next up, we have the fifth and sixth figures from TE’s resurrected mini series, Psycho Tank and Jap Bug! Taken from the original 1983 Ghostbusters flick, the beautifully realised figure stands at just under 8″ tall, coming with articulation in the neck. Produced in an unpainted clear vinyl with red glitter “guts” insert and packed in a Ghostbusters display box, the “X-Ray Red Lame” Marshmallow Man will set you back just 10,260yen plus shipping. SX Toy’s Yabanjin keshi revealed…

The elusive SX Toy have just revealed that their highly sought after Yabanjin kaiju has made the leap into the world of keshi! Whilst details on the project are still thin on the ground at present, it would appear that this new version of the Jack the Giant Killer-inspired beast has once again been sculpted by Siccaluna Koubo, coming in at an estimated 2″ of soft, keshi-style resin. Pictures here in a wide variety of different colors, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the Yabanjin keshi makes its retail debut soon…
