A one-of-a-kind mash-up featuring the head of Kaiju Coup’s Warui Neko with the body of Span of Sunset’s Cheshire Cat, the soft vinyl figure has been wrapped in a floral camo fabric with matching Monster Kolor sprays, swirled yellow eyes, hand cast resin teeth and a fitted color-changing LED unit. Signed and dated by the artist, the Camo Cheshire Warui Neko will be going on sale in the Plasebo store this coming Thursday, March 31st…

With off-white and black versions now tucked firmly under their belt, Blackdots and Rockin’ Jelly Bean are proud to reveal that their debut “Freaky Monster Village” sofubi – Mr Death – will be see his first fully-painted colorway this week! Inspired, sadly not by RJB’s signature erotic psychobilly art, but instead by hotrod culture and the early sofubi scene of the mid-late 90’s, the stunning, cigar smoking skull was designed and sculpted by RESTORE’s Abe Junnosuke, featuring articulation in the waist and arms as well as fully-removable cain and eyeball. Produced by Blackdots in a mix of soft vinyl, ABS and PVC, the figure has been treated to a realistic palette of charcoal greys, ivory and brown. As part of her upcoming “Kaiju Negora” shows in both LA and New York, Japanese artist Konatsuya has teamed up with Koraters‘ Shoko Nakazawa for 2 very special toy releases! Kicking things off with the LA leg this coming Monday, April 1st at QPOP with a hand painted Kaiju Negora and Byron set, this will be followed by a similar Kyubiros and Byron release in NY some time in September. Pricing and edition sizes are still to be confirmed, but we’ll be holding out hope that a few of the Negora/Byron sets will make it to the QPOP online store soon…. Available with 2 initial buying options, we have a 3-pack produced in the super ‘bot’s classic red/yellow/blue and a special singular version, again coming in red but fitted with a pencil-sized hole in the bottom.
