Artist Jesse Narens has teamed up with none other than Bwana Spoons for the latest painted edition of his debut sofubi, Stegoforest! Standing at around 5″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the nature loving dino has been cast in a brown soft vinyl this time around, coming with a plethora of grey, metallic teal and red sprays with brushed detailing courtesy of Bwana. Whilst we only have the above pic to go on at present, it would appear that R:7’s original figures Jabara, Yabkyrie and Demshiron will be joined by all-new behemoth Hellagrad in a handful of limited colorways. Super7’s “Ghoul Glow” Skeletor sofubi…

Super7 will be at WonderCon 2016 in Los Angeles next weekend… and the all-new “Ghoul Glow” Skeletor has decided to join them too! Produced by Super7 in conjunction with Gargamel, the officially MOTU-licensed piece has been styled to look like a classic 1980’s Japanese soft vinyl figure, standing at around 5″ tall and coming with a removable “Havoc Staff” sceptre plus articulation in both arms and head. Produced in a GID vinyl, this second painted edition has been treated to dark metallic blue, silver and yellow masked sprays. Next, we a “Fires of Hell” one-off SS Wolfgang. Produced in the same yellow soft vinyl as the first release at DCon ’15, the little guy has been treated to a firey red rub with brown sprays and teal brushed detailing, coming packed with a random color gacha keshi micro. Priced at $75 and $30 respectively, these will be joining the “OG” and “Flesh” sets in the Softoy Hobby store at 9pm London time tonight (3/18)…

Kearjun’s Kella and Lekka sofubi revealed…

Following the success of both YouZha and Goodon, Hong Kong-based artist Kearjun is proud to unveil his third (and fourth!) soft vinyl figure… the awesome Kella and Lekka! Featuring a very similar aesthetic to the Fulci Zombi 2-inspired YouZha, this all-new rotting zombie appears to stand at around the same size at 8″ tall, featuring 2 very different heads that can be interchanged on the standard body. Whilst information on the first release is still forthcoming, we can assume from previous releases that painted artist runs will follow in due course. Alien Robot Monster’s M.U.S.C.L.E C.A.R.S keshi…

Originally releasing in extremely limited numbers at DCon ’15 back in November of last year, the highly sought after M.U.S.C.L.E C.A.R.S from Alien Robot Monster will finally see a general release next week! Whilst information on the figure’s origin remains close guarded at present, it appears the mini has been kit-bashed from a classic “Meat” M.U.S.C.L.E and a toy car, coming cast in 2 separate parts using an authentic flesh-tone soft resin. Going on sale in the Alien Robot Monster store next Wednesday, March 23rd for an undisclosed sum, we suggest keeping a close eye on the ARM Instagram feed for more details soon…

UPDATE// We have very kindly been informed by ARM’s Chris that the entire figure was in fact sculpted entirely from scratch using ZBrush! Chris also tells us that the figure will be going on sale at 9am Pacific time on Wednesday, coming in at just $30 plus shipping… Here’s hoping we see more M.U.S.C.L.E C.A.R.S soon!

Hinomaru-Ya x TTToy’s Arumasuti UMA Corps sofubi…

Hinomaru-Ya are proud to reveal that the sixth figure in their officially licensed UMA Corps Soft Vinyl Series – Arumasuti of the Caucasus – will be making his debut early next month! Designed and sculpted by TTToy’s Yoshihiko Makino based on the Japan pro wrestler of the same name, the hairy beast comes in a little taller than previous releases at 4.3″ tall, featuring articulation in both the waist and arms. Briefly mentioned in our coverage of the “ZX Spectrum” Mammoth sofubi last week, the upcoming Sega Keshi series from Geek Life has just received it’s first teaser! Still leaving us in the dark as to what license they’ve chosen for their first release, our limited knowledge of Sega’s games would suggest that Geek Life have opted for Streets of Rage’s Signal based on the mohawk- but with the little guy sitting in a kart of some sort, we must admit we’re not totally sure on that one! Going on sale alongside a new Sega Retro T-Shirt Collection in the Yamakichiya store very soon, look out for more details as soon as they’re confirmed!

Cast in a green vinyl and treated to masked white, purple, red and silver sprays, Hollis can be in your court for just $35. Next, we have Josh Herbolsheimer’s Rose Vampire in a gorgeous Red Spectre colorway. Featuring a clear red vinyl with purple sprays that reflect the thorny vamps’ diabolical nature, this ray of colorful dark sunshine has also been priced at $35. In a similar vein to the Mini City play set we featured just yesterday, Gargamel have just unleashed their very own to-scale kaiju accessory, the Tower Lobo Showa!
