Yep, yet more from Medicom today, as the Japanese toy giant comes with their latest exclusive from Awesome Toy… Big Foot (aka Sasquatch) in not 1, but 2 all-new colorways! Based on a highly sought after vintage gorilla sofubi mini, the little guy has been upscaled to a huge 10″ tall, coming with articulation in the waist and arms. Cast in a deep brown soft vinyl, “Version 1” features simple, vintage-style flesh sprays, whilst “Version 2” comes in a mix of dark brown and grey inspired by the OG mini. Going on sale through Medicom via open preorder starting Thursday, March 24th, the pair will set you back just 9,720yen ($87) plus shipping…

Originally debuting back in December of last year, GEEK!’s breathtaking Kerberosman has received a limited custom run courtesy of its creator, Kenth Toy Works! Based on the three-headed hell hound found in Greek mythology, this upwardly mobile interpretation stands at a towering 11.8″ tall with 5 points of articulation. Produced in a Japanese soft vinyl, the lumbering beast has been treated to KTW’s signature “Hologram” paint app complete with rubbed detailing, pointilised dot work and meticulous, hand brushed highlights. TAN’s Pig Pig Man sofubi prototype revealed…

With his Mimi Monster proving to be one of the biggest new releases in sofubi last year, artist TAN has wasted no time in getting to work on a follow-up… proudly presenting the wonderfully grotesque Pig Pig Man! Drawing inspiration across urban legend and neo-kaiju, the beautifully sculpted figure appears to be much larger than Mimi at around 7″ long (TBC), coming with a flabby pig torso and appendages with a human-faced head akin to Jinmenken. Currently in the final stages of clay prototyping, we’ll be looking forward to Pig Pig Man’s debut later this year…

Originally teased early last week, we can now finally reveal that the “Nordic Legion” Alavaka from Devils Head Productions will be up for grabs later this week! Sitting at around 5″ tall, the 2-part demonic flesh eating Buddha has been produced in a clear soft vinyl this go around, coming with red, white and orange sprays, “black metal” detailing, plus a “heart” guts and wrapped bone accessory. Packed with a CD copy of Devils Head Records’ release number 14 – “Epidemic” from The Plague – the “Nordic Legion” Akavaka will be dropping in the DHP store at various times (Eastern) on Saturday, March 5th for just $60 each plus shipping…

Our very own Tru:Tek has revealed that he’s teaming up with Science Patrol for a whole slew of painted exclusives that’ll be touching down at ToyCon UK next month! Teased here just last week, the latest Splatter Retsuden keshi from Uncut‘s Kotobuki Man, dubbed the “Texas Butcher”, will be seeing its first online sale later this week! Inspired by cult horror flick The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface, the Bikkuriman-style keshi appears to be the same size as the previously released figures, coming in at a super-chunky 2.5″ tall. Produced in a soft, keshi-style resin with a choice of flesh, pink, green and orange colorways, each figure comes packed with a companion holographic “Splatter Restsuden” sticker. Having seen an extremely limited custom release courtesy of Obsessed Panda last week, we’re very pleased to reveal that VideoV0mit‘s Zangotchi mini will finally see it’s first official run later this week! Co-designed alongside DeathCat Toys‘ Johan Ulrich and sculpted by KtoKto, the Bikkuriman-style figure stands at just over 3″ tall, coming with the same chest skull, tentacled arms and shark-like head as the soon-to-be-released 9″ soft vinyl rendition. Produced by Dubose Art in a classic GID resin this time around, Zangotchi’s debut run will be going on sale through the VideoV0mit store this coming Friday, March 4th. With the success of Jamira, Aboras, Red King and Pigumon tucked firmly under his belt, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has been given the green light on yet another figure for his ongoing Ultra Kaiju series, taking on the mighty yeti-like Woo! Featuring in classic tokusatsu show Ultraman, the official, Tsuburaya-licensed figure has been sculpted by Jon in-scale with the previous 4 releases at around 5″ tall, coming complete with 3 points of articulation and what appears to be a “Yuki” omake- the mysterious young girl who Woo looks out for in the show. Teased here in test-shot form, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed the beast of Phantom Mountain will make his Ultra Kaiju debut soon…

SIO‘s Honda Motoaki has revealed that he’ll be releasing new versions of both Enigma and the new Maharaja sofubi this week! Coming cast in clear soft vinyl this time around, the 6″ tall, 6-eyed feline deity known as Maharaja has been treated to embellished multi-colored gems, whilst the 2.5″, 2-part Enigma bear has been left untouched. Priced at just 5,400yen ($48) and 2,700yen ($24) respectively, the pair are due to go on sale through SIO’s Instagram and Facebook accounts this coming Tuesday, March 1st…

Continuing his 10th Anniversary celebrations this week, Bob Conge aka Plaseebo comes with the fifth instalment in his Plaseebo Mummy series! Standing at around 7″ tall, the creepy figure has been cast in a white glow-in-the-dark vinyl this time around, coming with a detail hugging grey and earth washes, red glass inset eyes, an internal, motion activated LED unit and authentic aged bandages.
