Creator of the hugely popular Mimi Monster sofubi, TAN, has revealed that he’s teaming up with Paul Kaiju for a rather kinky run of Unchiman and King Jinx sofubi! Whilst details are still close guarded at present, it would appear that the pair of classic PK figures have been treated to S&M-inspired paint apps courtesy of TAN; the recently revealed Unchi featuring a rather disturbing mix of rubbery black and red sprays with fleshy detailing. Slated for lottery release some time “soon”, we suggest keeping a close eye on TAN’s Instagram feed right here to avoid missing out on these leather-clad beauties!
Ron English x Secret Base x Toy Tokyo’s latest “X-Ray” Mc Supersized revealed…

Toy retailer Toy Tokyo have once again teamed up with Secret Base for another exclusive version of Ron English’s “X-Ray” McSupersized sofubi! Standing at around 7” tall, the classic piece has been produced by Secret Base in a clear vinyl this time around, coming with a gorgeous “split” paint app in blue, red and white that reveals a black-washed skeleton insert inside. Going on sale blind bagged (we’re told an unrevealed chase version will be added to the mix!) through the Secret Base store this week for 12,960yen ($113) plus shipping, anyone living in the US is going to need to wait for Toy Tokyo’s domestic release over the next couple of weeks…
Kotobuki Man’s “Texas Butcher” Splatter Retsuden keshi…

With Dream Master Nightmare Kun making it’s debut (and quickly selling out) just last month, Uncut‘s Kotobuki Man has wasted no time in getting the next figure ready in his ongoing Splatter Retsuden/Terror Treehouse series… taking on the mighty Leatherface from cult classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Whilst the above image is all we have to go on at present, it would appear that the hammer weilding “Texas Butcher” will fit in with previous releases perfectly, featuring a similar Bukkuriman-inspired design that comes in at an oversized 2.5″ tall. Set to make its debut alongside a companion holographic sticker at some point next month, you can be sure that as soon as we have full release details, you guys will be the first in the know…
Star Case’s latest Dester Commando colorway revealed…

With the “Graffiti Blue” edition now finally making it’s way into collectors homes, Star Case have wasted no time in teasing yet another Dester Commando colorway that’ll hopefully be making an appearance soon! Taken from ongoing knock-off Star Wars line “Star Convoy”, the 6″ tall Stormtrooper-inspired sofubi has been treated to black, silver, red and yellow hand brushed detailing on clear vinyl, coming complete with an open dome that reveals multi-colored tinsel inserted inside. With release details still forthcoming, we suggest keeping a close eye on the Star Case Instagram feed here for more info soon…
DHP’s “Nordic Legion” Alavaka teased…

Whilst information is still thin on the ground at present, we’re lead to assume that the run will feature an edition of just 6 figures this time around, each coming cast in a clear vinyl with black/white sprays and what appears to be some sort of resin insert. As if the recently revealed Enzankos weren’t enough (check them here if you haven’t already), the mighty Monstock has just revealed that they’ll be unleashing a international market exclusive “Fantastic Beans” Igudoradon Cordyceps soon too! Standing at a monstrous 7″ tall and 11″ long, the mushroom-topped larvae kaiju has been produced in a bright green soft vinyl, coming with a retina-melting array of faded neon sprays. As with the Enzankos, details on Igudoradon Cordyceps international release is still thin of the ground at present, but we’ll be keeping our ear to the ground for any updates soon…
Doktor A x Toy Art Gallery’s “Orange” Mandrake Root…

Originally debuting in limited quantities at DCon ’15 back in November, Doktor A‘s debut sofubi with Toy Art Gallery – Mandrake Root – will finally see it’s first official online release this weekend! Designed by Dok A and sculpted by Turtle Milk Studios’ David Arshawsky (he of ’89 TMNT fame), the 8″ tall tuberous kaiju features a total of 7 points of articulation, coming complete with a 3″, 2-part mini sidekick to boot. Having successfully produced Diavolo through a unique Instagram campaign last year, the mighty Touma returns with yet another figure he’s looking to get crowdfunded through the social media app, the awesome Retro Robot Knuckle Bear! Pictured here as a finished concept, the mechanised take on Touma’s classic grizzly design appears to be around mid-size (5″-7″), presumably coming with articulation in the arms, legs and neck. With their “Funny Man” YouZha run selling out in a matter of minutes, D-Lux and Kearjun teamed up for yet another micro-run release, this time taking on the mighty Goodon! Heavily inspired by Bemon’s iconic “2-Headed” kaiju, which in turn was inspired by Famous Monsters of Filmland’s 1968 “Jack the Giant Killer” cover, the towering 2-faced figure has been designed and sculpted by Kearjun, standing at around 10″ tall and featuring 6 points of articulation. Produced in a tan-colored soft vinyl, D-Lux has treated the beast to a gorgeous “split” style paint app, featuring rubbed, sprayed and brushed sections in blue, purple, flesh and a bloody red.
