MAN-E-NEWS// The “Showdown” Zinewolf set from Hateball…

12135159_192448727754057_1598392978_n

“So it’s pretty obvious, right? In the grand scheme of things, with all things considered, Hateball is a Spider-Man person. Not a Batman person; Superman doesn’t even rate, and it’s pretty silly to compare a singular and complex hero with a group or a team like X- or League so even if I didn’t WANT to love Spider-Man more than I love anything else, I’d HAVE to love Spider-Man more than I love anything else… He’s the only real choice.

And so! A release that I’ve wanted to do since the inception of Zinewolf is upon us. The Showdown. A deconstructed exploration into the hows and whys of Spider-Man toys, Spider-Man’s maddeningly dumbass and yet somehow sort of charming relationship with Green Goblin, and the question of whether or not Zinewolf can be tastefully painted if the right context is provided…”

Yep, yet another release from Hateball‘s Justin Jewett this week, as the lord of nul proudly presents his latest Zinewolf release, the Showdown! Heavily inspired by childhood comic favourite Spiderman and his arch nemesis The Green Goblin, the “Showdown” features 2 Zinewolf figures that have been produced in the characters’ signature red/blue and green/purple, with both 8″ soft vinyl figures coming complete with a variety of sprays and hand painted detailing courtesy of Candie Bolton. Packed with a number of extras including matching marbled Zinewolf keshi, a full-color zine, Spiderman tattoos and a patch, the “Showdown” set can be yours for just $115 plus shipping. Go check them out in the Hateball store right here before they quickly disappear!
