Yep, strangely yet more Human Centipede related toy news today, as Secret Base and Cure proudly reveal their collaborative figure based on the recent “Third Sequence” film! Depicting one of the many, many unfortunate prisoners that make up the 250+ strong centipede line depicted in the depraved flick, the little guy – positioned in the classic ass to mouth pose – has been produced in what appears to be a flesh colored soft vinyl, coming with a mix of red and black sprays. Touching down in the Secret Base store later this week to coincide with the film’s release in Japanese theatres, the figure will be available “blind bag” with a number of different chase variants on offer for just 3,000yen ($24) a piece…

Keeping up their steady flow of new figures over the past year, Mirock Toy have just unveiled one of the coolest creations we’ve seen yet… the “Dr Mirock Tank” mini! Closely based on the original “Dr Mirock’s Strange Invention” figure, the claw-armed deity has been perfectly down-scaled to what we can only guess to be around 2″ tall, featuring the same meticulous detailing albeit with a few minor modifications. Whilst we’re still unsure as to whether the figure will be released as an open-bottom sofubi similar to the original mini “Mirock Tank” or as a solid keshi – we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the latter – you can be sure that as soon as we find out, you guys will be the first in the know…

Hot on the heals of yesterday’s “Namazu” and “Karakasa” coverage (check it here), Japan-based sofubi producer Science Patrol is proud to reveal the arrival yet more soft vinyl minis… the adorable Beakies of the World! Standing at around 3″ tall, the super cute 2-part figures have been produced in a flesh tone for their first ever outing, coming in a whopping total of 9 different painted varieties ranging from “Blue Budgie” to “Avocado Bird”. Currently residing in the Science Patrol store right here, the Beakies can be yours for the special “Early Bird” price of just $10 each plus shipping (expect them at $13 when they make their official debut later in the year)…

Originally teased here earlier in the month, we can now reveal that the first round of officially licensed “Human Centipede” keshi from Geek Life and Six Entertainment is now up for grabs! Coinciding with the launch of the infamous horror series’ third and final “sequence” in Japanese cinemas, the release consists of 2 figures to start with, crazed surgeon “Dr Heiter” and a generic “Centipede Human”, both have been sculpted by Kenth Toy Works‘ Komori Kentaro Kenth, coming in-scale with contemporary keshi figures at around 1.5″-2.5″ each. Produced in a keshi-style soft resin, both figures are available in a choice of 4 different colorways – flesh, orange, blue and green – coming in at just 2,000yen each plus shipping. Currently up for grabs in the Geek Life store right here, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the remaining 3 figures from the series (Jenny, Lindsay and Katsuro) are set to follow soon…

The guys over at legandary NY retailer Toy Tokyo are proud to reveal that they’ve secured an exclusive version of Zollmen‘s “Takemi” Fancy Toy sofubi! Standing at around 8″ tall and featuring articulation in the arms and neck, the fungal femme has been produced in what appears to be a mix of green and muted pink vinyl this time around, coming complete with vintage-style black, red, yellow and silver sprays, plus random-color googly eye inserts. Having teamed up on the hugely popular “Masked Alavaka” releases last year, Splurrt and Devils Head Productions are proud to reveal that they’re joining forces once more for a special “Bi Polar” Cadaver Twins release! Designed and sculpted by Splurrt, the grotesque infant has been produced in a flesh colored soft vinyl this time around, coming with what appears to be a bloody “split” paint app courtesy of DHP’s Toby Dutkiewicz. Pricing, edition size and release date for the figures are still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep an eye on both Splurrt and DHP Instagram feeds for the full lowdown over the next few days…

Fresh from their huge online sale a couple of weeks back, Science Patrol are proud to reveal that they’ll be debuting yet more figures at the upcoming Fukagawa Haunted Fair, taking on classic yokai creatures “Namazu” and “Karakasa”! Hand sculpted and produced in soft vinyl by SP over in Japan, the giant catfish and animated umbrella have been cast in a flesh tone for their first release, coming complete with a number of sprays, rubs and those all-important dolls eye inserts. Going on sale at the TofuBoy Records booth this coming Sunday, August 23rd, the pair have been priced at just 2,000yen ($16) each… Here’s hoping we see an online debut for both soon!

Kotobuki over at Uncut is proud to reveal that the second Spatter Retsuden keshi “Mush Man” is finally available to overseas collectors! Inspired by cult horror flick Return of the Living Dead 2’s “Tarman” character, the Bikkuriman-style keshi appears to be the same size as the previously released Splatter Retsuden (Boropushi/Cropsey) at 2.5″, this time around coming complete with a companion mini brain accessory. Last seen way back in June, we can now reveal that the “Chibi Pachi-Bot: Deadly Rays of Death” keshi mini series fromNama Niku will finally see the light of day soon thanks to Bwana Spoons over at Gravy Toys! Meticulously kit-bashed by Nama from a variety of different vintage keshi mini figures, the quartet – Alpha Minus, Omega Trois, Koroshiya Zelph and Kolob Infinito – all stand at a chibi-sized 0.75″-1″ tall, coming cast up by Eric Nilla in a selection of black washed, metallic colored rubber. Due to come packed with header art from none other than John Black, the Chibi Pachi-Bots will be making their debut as part of the “Gravy Mini Shop and Gallery” opening at Portland’s Floating World Comics on September 3rd… Unable to attend the event? Then you’ll be glad to know that a limited supply of stock has been held back for an online release in the Gravy Toys store a week later. The guys behind new sofubi brand WAZURI are proud to reveal that their hugely popular “Elephant” sofubi is set to return next week in an elegant “Gold Fang” colorway! Standing at around 6″ tall, the beautifully realised 2-part piece has been produced in a glossy black soft vinyl for it’s fourth official outing, coming complete with simple gold sprays and metallic purple/red hand painted detailing. Due to touch down in toy retailer Convict Shimokitazawa‘s online store on Sunday, August 30th at 12pm Japan time, WAZURI’s “Gold Fang” Elephant will be available for around 7,000yen ($56) plus shipping. Hot on the heals of last weekend’s release (check it here), Shigeru Arai of NagNagNag has just revealed that the latest iteration of the elusive “Boryoku Genjin” Nag doll will be seeing yet another release this week with an alternative three-eyed zombie head! Based on the Nag design seen in Shigeru’s recent YouTube claymation (which was sadly taken down as quick as it was put up!), the incredibly detailed figure features an all-new upscaled body, standing at around 12″ tall and coming complete with articulation in the shoulders, elbows, legs and head. Inspired by the silver screen’s classic “Fu-Manchu” beard – albeit minus the moustache! – the Tru:Tek-designed, Zectron-sculpted figure has been produced in a super-squishy purple soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with simple blue and silver sprays, a fitted squeaker, plus the pièce de résistance – a matching purple-to-blue thermal color changing beard! Hot on the heals of the recently featured “Tunneler“, Lee Burbridge over at Bigmantoys has just unveiled yet another mini figure sculpt based on “The Puppet Master”, this time taking on arguably the most recognisable character from the cult horror series… the Blade! Digitally sculpted by Lee in Z-Brush, the weapon-handed “spy” doll once again features a similar aesthetic to the classic Kinnikuman/M.U.S.C.L.E line – albeit with Charles Band‘s distinct air of horror – presumably coming in-scale with both the iconic minis and previously revealed “Tunneler” at around 2″ tall. Similarly, whilst licensing for Blade is still to be confirmed, official or not, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a release in a keshi-style rubber on the Bigmantoys store soon…

Artist Candie Bolton is proud to reveal that she’ll have a special “GID Obake” micro-run of her adorable Kitsura sofubi up for grabs online later today (8/18)! Based on a design by Candie, the Max Toy Co produced piece has been sculpted by none other than Pico Pico, standing around 3″ tall and coming with 2 points of articulation. Cast in a glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl this time around, the figure has been treated to gorgeous C-Thru teal and magenta sprays with a sparkly gloss finish. Debuting (and quickly selling out!) at Wonderfestival Summer ’15 a few weeks back, the “Iron Meat” sofubi from Restore will finally be available to international customers next week! Said to be the friend of the previously released “Neo Japan”, the lumbering cyborg – originally realised in garage kit form – has been reimagined by RESTORE’s Abe Junnokai, standing at little over 8″, coming with 8 points of articulation and featuring clear cutaway sections in the stomach and on the head as well as a fully removable “rocket” arm. Wonderfully painted up in a mix of subtle grey tones coupled with ultra-realistic rust weathering and a striking pair of yellow/black striped pants, this first version of Iron Meat will be up for grabs via preorder through both Lulubell Toys and Mintyfresh from August 25th to September 8th, coming in at around 9,000yen ($72) plus shipping…

Inspired by Hell Raiser’s regenerating protagonist of the same name, the figure – designed by Tru:Tek and sculpted by Zectron – has been produced in a non-squishy flesh-toned soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with layers of gruesome fleshy rubs and sprays, meticulous hand painted detailing, plus fitted custom blown glass eye inserts.
