As if the previously revealed Oozeball, Hagball and Kesagake painted runs weren’t enough, Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt has just unveiled a swathe of killer one-off customs he’ll have up for grabs at Wonderfestival Summer ’15 this weekend! Featuring a stunning Kesagake in flesh-tone vinyl with a red rub and masses of hand painted detailing, the huge grizzly is to be joined by a matching Secretoy Cinema Monster, a Hagball variant with little black button eyes, plus the piece de resistance… a Rotten DX in Jon’s signature contrasting purple, green and pink paint app! Up for grabs alongside new Cyclops Dinos, Snack Packs and micros at the Paralyzing Toyz WF booth (5-28-02) this coming Sunday, July 26th, any remaining figures will be heading to the Rampage store the following Monday…

Following months on the drawing board, mad genius Matias over at Kalaka Toys has just revealed that his “MOTU Eater” resin figure is now finally up for grabs! Featuring a whole slew of kit-bashed MOTU parts – namely the heads of the series’ most memorable heroes and foes – the hulking figure features an originally sculpted, kaiju-style body that loosely takes on the appearance of the MIMP Jotun Troll. Debuting with a total of 3 different purchasing options up for grabs, $150 will secure a copy of the figure in a random color GID finish, $180, a copy of the figure plus a limited MOTU Eater t-shirt, whilst $200 will bag you a fully painted version from Bongo. Coming last, but by no means least, Koji Harmon over at Comet Debris has just revealed the fifth and final figure he’ll have up for grabs at Wonderfestival Summer ’15 this weekend, the “Neon Red” Kappa Shonen! Standing at around 5″ tall and featuring articulation in the neck and arms, the adorable little guy has been produced in the same gorgeous neon red vinyl as the recent ToyCon Sametan release, coming with matching yellow and blue sprays. Touching down at Comet Debris WF booth (4-10-13) this coming Sunday, July 26th with an online sale planned for the same day at 9am Pacific time, the “Neon Red” Kappa Shonen has been priced at just 5,000yen ($40)…

Sofubi producer Vinylckr (formerly Nerdone, we think!) has teamed up with famed Japanese hip hop/electronic duo Group Inou for the release of the officially licensed “Dolphin-kun” (イルカくん) sofubi! Based on the musicians’ recurring dolphin mascot – usually seen on stage during their live performances – the little guy has been sculpted in a vintage finger puppet style, standing at around 2.5″ tall and featuring an open, uncapped base. Making its debut at Paralyzing Toyz’ Wonderfestival Summer ’15 booth (5-28-02) this coming Sunday, July 26th, the above painted version will be up for grabs for an undisclosed sum, whilst a blank white “garage kit” version will be available for just 1,500yen ($12)…

Joining a slew of the usual cupcake/cat related sofubi, the guys over at Refreshment Toy are proud to announce that they’ll be resurrecting Nerdone‘s Kong sofubi for an exclusive “Lemon Ice” run at Wonderfestival Summer ’15 this weekend! Standing at around 10″ tall and coming with articulation in the neck, waist, arms and feet, the lumbering beast has been produced in a bright yellow vinyl with summertime white, blue and red sprays. Whilst we’re still unsure as to whether the figure will come with its matching Gorilla Tank accessory, we’re guessing the figure will be priced around 8,000-10,000yen (?) regardless. Look out for the “Lemon Ice” Kong at the Paralyzing Toyz WF booth (5-28-02) this coming Sunday, July 26th…

Having seen a few limited releases since their debut back in February, Jungle‘s “Demon Castle of Gle-Jun” sofubi minis are set to return this weekend as a Wonderfestival Summer ’15 exclusive! Featuring a total of 6 different figures from the Neclos Fortress-inspired series – including designs from Jungle regulars Uky Daydreamer and Skulltula – the release has been split up into 2 different sets, both coming beautifully hand sprayed in a selection of muted, earthy tones. Going on sale at Jungle’s WF booth this coming Sunday, July 26th for around 5,000yen ($40) a set, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the little guys will finally see their online debut soon…

The guys over at Awesome Toy are proud to present something a little different to their current roster of super robots, kaiju and retro-themed figures… introducing the Awesome TV! Inspired by the Indie Toy scene’s extensive selection of “platform” toys – figures that can be customised – the vintage-styled TV’s unique take on the idea is set to offer sofubi painters, designer toy customisers and even illustrators more scope for creativity than ever before. Featuring an ingenious, fully-adaptable design, the deceptively simple soft vinyl cube has been fitted with a removable front “screen” panel, meaning that not only can the outer shell be painted, re-sculpted or mashed-up with other figures – a TV head instantly springs to mind! – but it can also be used to display prints, drawings, photos or even various items inside- the possibilities for different “programs” and “channels” are limitless! Aside from the DIY/custom aspect, the Awesome TV will also be used in conjunction with future Awesome Toy releases, including a number of planned artist collaborations, exclusive versions, plus integration with previous AT figures. Closely based on the works of alias’s Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morez, the over-sized keshi has been accurately realised by the sculptor of legendary mini series Neclos Fortress, standing at around 2.5″ tall and coming cast in a selection of classic keshi colors. Standing at around 8″ tall, the Fulci-inspired zombie has been produced in a pink flesh-tone vinyl this time around, coming with a number of green and red sprays over a detail hugging black rub. Standing at around 5″ tall and featuring articulation in the waist and shoulders, the little guy has been produced in a clear yellow soft vinyl inspired by Takara’s time traveling Micronauts, marking the first semi-painted release with a simple gold belt detail. Priced at just 4,500yen ($?), Electric Boy will be available at the Comet Debris WF booth (4-10-13) this Sunday, July 26th. Unable to attend the event? Originally teased here just a few days back, we can now reveal the latest “Evil Mc” colorway from Ron English and BlackBook Toy in-full, proudly presenting the “Hella Bling” edition! Based on the reoccurring character seen in many of English’s paintings, the sinister-looking fast food anti-mascot has been realised in 3D by the talented Chop over at Monster Farm, standing at well over 13″ tall and coming with an impressive 8 points of articulation. Produced in a gold glitter-infused vinyl with masked red sprays for the release – complete with detachable fast food gun and jumbo burger accessory – the figure will be making its first appearance at BlackBook Toy’s Wonderfestival booth (8-20-15) next Sunday, July 26th, with a limited supply touching down in their online store the same day at 11am Eastern time. Pricing is still to be decided, but we’re guessing the piece will set you back around $120 plus shipping…

Designed by our very own Tru:Tek and sculpted by Zectron, the 3″ wide homage to both Ooze-It and Madballs has been produced in a squishy white sofubi this time around, coming with layers of pink, yellow and gold sprays with black hand painted detailing. Limited to a run of just 10 figures, the “Pink Side of the Ooze” Oozeballs will be available from the Paralyzing Toyz WF booth (5-28-02) this coming Sunday, July 26th for an undisclosed sum. Teased here at the end of last month, we can now finally reveal the latest Zombie Army keshi from FTWR Toy in-full! Completely different from our original predictions, the incredible figure actually features a clever two-headed design – named “MukkiMuki” and “Bakkibaki” respectively – coming complete with a huge chest hole that houses a gas canister, plus a fully detachable machete. Once again realised by the sculptor of legendary mini figure series Neclos Fortress, the 2.5″ tall piece has been produced in keshi-style soft rubber, coming in an initial selection of flesh tone, pink, green and the pictured light blue. Packed with an all-new Bikkuriman-style sticker, the latest Zombie Army keshi will be making it’s debut at Wonderfestival Summer ’15 this coming Sunday, priced at just 3,000yen ($24) each… Here’s hoping we see an overseas sale soon!

Daniel Smith aka turboPISTOLA comes with something a little different to his current line-up of minis, introducing the “Mania Ball” rubber ball! Riffing on the current resurgence of Madball-style figures, the piece was rather uniquely sculpted with no original planning whatsoever. Daniel kindly explains a little about the project… “To rage against my own apprehension toward sculpting, I picked up a lump of clay with only the desire to make it my bitch, no plan or design other than mania in mind. Alas, the Mania Ball was born…” Coming in at an authentically scaled 3.5″ wide, the fun-looking figure has been cast up in a bouncy, glittery yellow rubber for it’s first outing, with painted resin versions (pictured below sans-paint) planned soon after. Touching down in the turboPISTOLA store today (7/21) at 9.30pm Eastern time, the Mania Balls have been priced at just $25 each plus shipping…
