Finally bowing to the request of international collectors, the guys over at Convict are proud to announce that the Wazuri’s “Gekkou” (Moonlight) Elephant sofubi will be available worldwide later this week! Standing at around 6″ tall, the beautifully realised 2-part piece has been produced in a glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with minimal red detailing plus a stunning masked white moon on the side. Priced at $73 plus shipping, the “Gekkou” Elephant will be up for grabs via e-mail lottery starting this Friday, June 12th. After months on the drawing board, the awesome “Mr Softy” mini figure from RufusArt is finally set to see the light of day soon! Designed, hand sculpted and cast in resin by the artist, the angry little ice cream stands in-scale with traditional mini figures, coming in at around 2″ tall. Currently ironing out a few issues with production, Rufus has stated that he’ll have a selection of both painted and flesh-tone casts ready over the coming weeks. Can’t wait for your Mr Softy fix? Hot on the heals of the previously posted “Black Criminal” Chinpira, Satoru Doki over at Yamomark will be teaming up with Medicom Toy for yet another exclusive release next month, the “Black Nemesis” Tengu Lantern! Marking the second colorway for the “Slayer of Vanity”, the 6″ tall figure has been produced in what appears to be a flesh tone soft vinyl this time around, coming in a mix of black, purple and gold sprays with a removable Tengu mask. Touching down at Medicom’s 1/6 Project store and online from Saturday, July 11th, the “Black Nemesis” Tengu Lantern has been priced at just 5,000yen ($41)…

Not ones to rest on their laurels, the guys behind Baketan are proud to reveal images of yet another figure to hit the wax, an untitled piece inspired by both Nintendo’s OG Gameboy and the Apple Macintosh II! Whilst details are still thin on the ground at present, it would appear that the slab of retro gaming goodness will come in at around the same size as the previously released Nenne, Chi Chi and Nei at 4″ tall. Complete with vintage style switches, buttons, cartridge slots and even – in a nod to previous releases – a pair of cat ears, the adorable figure will hopefully be making its debut in vinyl over the next couple of months… Keep track of the Baketan Instagram feed here for more developments soon!

Originally teased in proto form way back in March this year, the “Break In” Lil Alex from Frank Kozik and Blackbook Toy is now finally up for grabs online! Standing at around 9″ tall and featuring 4 points of articulation, the Clockwork Orange-inspired piece has been produced in a milky white soft vinyl to mimic the OG version’s solid white, coming complete with subtle paint variations as well as that all-important “Maskie” mask in a black to red faded spray. Currently up for grabs through Blackbook Toy right here for just 12,500yen ($100) plus shipping, each purchase made through the store will also come with an exclusive “A Clockwork Carrot” badge whilst supplies last. Bob Conge aka Plaseebo is proud to present the fifth one-off custom based on his GNAW-X figure! Taken from Rampage Toys x Skull Head Butt’s huge collaboration from last year, the 8″ beast features Plaseebo‘s Gnaw head sculpt on top of SHB’s standard “X” body. Jointly produced by Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmtsedt and Marmit, the figure has been cast in what appears to be a pink soft vinyl this time around, coming with layers of metallic sprays, glass inset eyes and an internal motion activated color changing LED unit courtesy of Plaseebo. Signed and dated by the artist, Gnaw-X #5 can currently be found in the Plaseebo web store right here for $350 plus shipping…

Resin artist Motorbot has finally jumped on the Ooze-It bandwagon with his very own homage to the classic ’70s toy, the Beautiful Oozer! Based on Motorbot’s highly popular “Pug” design, the stunning figure stands at around 5″ tall, coming complete with a removable head that can be filled with slime and placed back on the body for maximum oozability (yes, that is a word! -Ed). Available in a choice of either black or green resin (w/ooze) for $20, a limited number of blank white versions are also available for just $10. Singapore-based artist Daniel Yu has just announced that he’ll have a whole slew of new figures ready for release later this week, the first to be revealed coming in the form of these gorgeous proto-grey versions of both Wilbur and The Jiangshi Acolyte! Standing at around 3″-3.5″ tall each, the pair have been cast in a detail-rich blank grey resin this time around, with Wilbur remaining static whilst the “hopping vampire” has been graced with magnetic articulation in the shoulders. Going on sale in the Daniel Yu store this coming Friday, June 12th alongside a ton of other goodies, pricing and edition size for the pair are still to be confirmed… Look out for more reveals later in the week!

After over a year of teasers and reveals, the highly anticipated “Woebegone Mamilla” sofubi from Psycho Scimitar will finally be making it’s debut this week! Designed and sculpted by Alex Gavryushenko, the “miserable nipple” stands at 8″ tall and around 6″ wide, featuring articulation in the neck as well as 2 different eyeballs and a tongue that can be stuck into the eye-sockets. Produced in a contrasting mix of magenta and blue soft vinyl, this extremely limited run of blank, unpainted figures will be touching down in the Psycho Scimitar store this Wednesday, June 10th at 9pm Eastern for just $75 plus shipping… Look out for news of the first painted run over the next few weeks!

Karlo over at useless friend has been hard at work on his latest limited edition resin figure, the awesome SKAGREFISH! Standing at around 3.5″ tall, the hand sculpt and cast piece has been strictly limited to just 12 one-off colorways, the first 3 of which will be up for grabs in the useless friend store later this month; “Original Green” -said to be the first ever produced – coming in a solid light green resin for $100; the mixed-part “Tropical”, featuring a banana yellow head and peachy orange body for $120; and “Green Skull Commando”, the first of 2 “Commando” casts, coming in a meticulously blended mix of camo tan, green and brown for $150. Each packed with a limited edition 8″ x 10″ companion print, the first round of SKAGREFISH’s will be up for grabs right here very soon. Rich Montanari Jr over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore is proud to reveal that his long awaited “Troll” sofubi has finally made it over to Japan for wax prototyping ahead of vinyl production! Considerably larger than Rich’s standard DX figure at around 11″ tall (comparison below), the figure is said to be the latest in MVH’s illustrious line-up of toys to receive multiple head designs in the future. With the project already light years ahead of schedule, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the hideous looking creature will be making his first official appearance before the summer is out. Originally teased in clay prototype form a couple of months back, the Ultimate Saikobi kaiju from Max Toy Co will finally be seeing its first release later this month! An upscaled version of the previously released Saikobi “Monster Boogie” sofubi mini, the Suzuki Works-designed figure has been sculpted by Pico Pico in his signature half-mecha style, coming in a little under 8″ tall and featuring 6 points of articulation. Pictured here in an unpainted tan soft vinyl, Ultimate Saikobi will actually be making its debut in an as-yet-unrevealed paint scheme, touching down at Tokyo’s Dai-Kaiju Monster Salon this coming Saturday, June 13th for an undisclosed sum. Inspired by Dr Zorka’s robot in the 1939 scifi/ horror B-movie serial “The Phantom Creeps”, the towering 15″ figure was designed by Rimel, digitally sculpted by iamscumbag and produced in Japan courtesy of Grody Shogun.
