Produced in a squishy clear matt soft vinyl, the Tru:Tek-designed, Zectron-sculpted “squeaky toy” has been treated to a mesmerising mix of pink and gold sprays with neon green detailing courtesy of Rampage, coming complete with a neat little extra that we’re told will be revealed in due course. After months on the drawing board, the jaw-dropping “Canine Lupis” resin figure from MM Toys is finally set to make its debut! The fourth figure in the team’s horror infused series of teeth monsters, the huge werewolf-like beast has been hand sculpted by Maren Seibold and roto-cast by husband Mark “HipHopRobot” Bentley, amazingly coming in at just under a pound of black tinted resin. Pictured here as the very first test paint, Mark has stated that he’ll be working his magic on another before deciding which will become the first painted run to hit the HipHopRobot store next week… Look out for full release details on the figure has soon as we have them!

Offering up a total of 3 different figures this time around – school monster “Gakkon”, produced in a black vinyl with metallic sprays, tornado beast “Tatumakira”, coming cast in a clear green vinyl with pink, blue and yellow sprays, and “Dancheera”, in a vivid brown vinyl with metallic sprays – the lofty 9″ tall kaiju have been priced at just 8,000yen ($67) each plus shipping. Originally revealed as a finished clay sculpt back way back in December of last year, Alex Gavryushenko over at Brooklyn based toy and apparel brand Psycho Scimitar is proud to reveal that his awesome debut sofubi is fianlly read for production! Entitled “Woebegone Mamilla” (the miserable nipple!) or Woebi for short, the crazy looking aquatic kaiju stands at around 7″-8″ tall, featuring articulation in the neck as well as 3 interchangeable eye accessories. Produced in a contrasting mix of bright pink and blue soft vinyl for it’s first release, we’re told to expect the figure in the Psycho Scimitar store at some point in the first week of June. Our good friend Peter Kato has just revealed his entry for Gravy Toys‘ upcoming Brodarrfest U.S group show, proudly presenting his latest resin figure, Jeff the Scrapper! A youthful rendition of Suns of Brodarr’s lead character in his early days as a “Mad Max-style pit fighting wrestler” – Peter’s words! – the little guy has been digitally sculpted, 3d printed and hand cast in resin, coming in a gorgeous mint green with subtle pink sprays and black detailing. Exhibiting alongside works from a whole host of artists from across toys and illustration, Jeff the Scrapper will be available at Brodarrfest’s opening at the FOE Gallery on Saturday, June 6th… Here’s hoping we see further editions in the not too distant future!

Hot on the heals of the limited “Gree Ness Vs. Ness Solo” Design Fiesta 41 release over the weekend, the guys over at Awesome Toy are proud to reveal that their Loch Ness Monster sofubi is now finally available in it’s first official painted colorway! Inspired by easily the most obscure and hard to obtain figure from the iconic Stretch Armstrong line – the Stretch Serpent – the stunning 4″ tall figure features a number of design alterations that better suit the new medium, including a revised head sculpt plus a small curling tail similar to Leo Boya’s Guzo Kaiju. Produced in a bright green soft vinyl and treated to minimal masked yellow and black sprays with red hand painted detailing, the figure is currently available via preorder through the Toy Underground store right here, with each coming packed with a bonus sticker designed by Michael Skattum for just $40 a piece… Missed out on the first run of blanks? Teased here in prototype form back in March, the “El Barto” resin figure from apparel brand Scumbags and Superstars has just been revealed in-full! Inspired by the brans highly popular enamel pin badge of the same name, the bootleg Bart has been sculpted from the ground up by an unknown artist, coming in-scale with the original Playmates Simpsons action figures at around 3.5″ tall. Following our look at the “Pocket Guardian” minis earlier in the week, we can now reveal the whole slew of other Galaxy People figures artist Brian Bunting will be bringing along to Design Fiesta 41 this weekend! Aside from the adorable little Guardians, attendees of the event can expect new painted runs and one-off customs of all 3 new “villain” characters – Drexyl, a teleporting cat assassin, Skreel, the galaxy bat, and Tragg, a ruthless dinosaur-headed mercenary (top) – the trio will be joined by new Sensorbats and Drexyls as well as a limited batch of GP x Rampage micro tank mash-ups.
