Once again offering up way more than we could ever feature in one day, we’ll instead be giving you guys the lowdown on the best releases throughout the rest of the week- starting today with the latest figure in Medicom’s long running Legend Pro Wrestler project, the “NWO Version” Hulk Hogan! The third figure in the series to secure an American licence – past releases have featured only Japanese fighters – the classic “Hollywood” Hogan has been recreated in a stunning vintage sofubi style, standing at just under 10″ tall, featuring 5 points of articulation (plus removable bandana and glasses) and coming complete with a companion NWO t-shirt (not shown). Hot on the heels of the various keshi and resin releases we’ve seen over the past few months, we can now reveal that DeathCat Toys‘ Elder Demons: Series 1 have finally made the transition into sofubi! Designed by DeathCats’ Johan Ulrich and sculpted by KtoKto, the 2.5″ tall Bikkuriman/Ma-Ba-style split torso minis – Oni Mira and the Red Pharoah – made their debut at KtoKto’s Superfestival 68 booth over the weekend, coming in a choice of black, olive green and blue/grey vinyl for just 2,000yen ($17) a set… Here’s hoping we see a general worldwide release of these soon!

Originally teased here way back in February, the second figure in Uncut‘s ongoing “Splatter Retsuden” series – aptly titled “Mush Man” – had just been revealed as a finished clay prototype! Inspired by cult horror flick Return of the Living Dead 2’s “Tarman” character, the oversized Bikkuriman-style keshi appears to be around the same size as the previously released Splatter Retsuden (Boropushi/Cropsey) at 2.5″, this time around coming complete with a mini brain accessory. Due to touch down in a selection of different colored rubber on the Uncut site at some point in the near future, be sure to stay tuned for full release details soon…

The guys over at RESTORE are proud to announce the arrival of their latest figure, the incredible “Iron Meat” SFB! Said to be the friend of the previously released “Neo Japan”, the lumbering cyborg has been sculpted by Abe Junnokai, standing at little over 8″, coming with 8 points of articulation and featuring what appears to be a fully removable head dome (TBC). Whilst little is known about the figure’s debut at present, you can be sure as soon as we find anything out you guys will be the first in the know…

With ToyCon UK ’15 open it’s doors tomorrow morning (4/25), we thought it was about time to give you guys a little recap on the various Oozeball sofubi our editor-in-chief Tru:Tek will have up for grabs at the event! Guesting at the Toy Shack booth between 11.30am – 1pm, here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect from the Disarticulator…
Rampage Toys one-off customs// The Disarticulators have joined forces with Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt for a trifecta of one-off customs! Produced in a non-squishy flesh-toned soft vinyl this time around – sadly sans squeaker – the Tru:Tek-designed, Zectron-sculpted balls have been treated to layers of unique sprays, rubs and brushwork. Rather aptly titled (from left to right) “Red Planet”, “Funfetti Ooze” and “Golden Sludge”, the trio will set you back just £65 a piece.
ToyCon UK exclusive “Predatooze”// Produced in a squishy clear matt soft vinyl this time around, the vintage-style “squeaky toy” has been filled to the brim with custom tie-dyed pom poms to resemble the infamous thermal imaging effect from cult 80’s flick, Predator. Limited to an edition of just 8 – including a “Deep Heat” chase – alongside just 2 variants in a “Stealth” colorway (without pom poms), the “Predatooze” Oozeballs come packed with a deluxe double sided header for £35 and £32.50 respectively.
Non-squishy “GID” and “Flesh”// Joining both Predatooze and the Rampage one-offs, Tru:Tek will also be bringing along a super-limited batch of Oozeballs in both GID and flesh-toned non-squishy vinyl. Capped at just 2 of each and never to be repeated in this format (i.e. unpainted!), these come packed with custom header cards for just £30 each.
Any leftovers will be making their way to the Man-E-Toys store on Sunday, April 26th at 9pm London time!

Inspired by classic vintage pachi (bootleg) Kaikaida sofubi, the 9″ tall FAKE BARON has been produced in a bright red vinyl, coming with a reversed, split blue paint app and suitably “bad” yellow and brown brushwork. Up for grabs at the Kaijumonster booth (#29) this Saturday, April 25th alongside the previously revealed Awesome Toy exclusives, pricing for Kikaida Baron is still to be confirmed…

Up and coming resin artist Selfish Little has just revealed that his latest resin figure – the slithering Fleshapoid – will be making a limited comeback in his store this weekend! Taking on a similar gross-out infused aesthetic as the previously released Mr Canker and the Muckster – albeit with a dash of classic sci-fi this time around – the gruesome insectoid stands at around 5.5″ tall and comes with articulation in the head, arms and waist. Hand cast in resin and treated to a number of stunning one-off paint applications, the second round of Fleshapoids will be touching down in the SelfishLittle store this Sunday, April 26th at 6pm Eastern time for around $30 each plus shipping (TBC)…

Joining the slew of artists announced yesterday as part of Nerd City‘s huge C2E2 booth this weekend, Daniel Smith aka Turbopistola has revealed a number of releases he’ll have up for grabs at the event. As well as a number of AP Cuddlehards, paintings and customs, Daniel will be bringing along a limited edition of 6 exclusive C2E2 Ion Men in a mix of red and clear black vinyl for $20 each, as well as 6 C2E2 Elephantos figures coming in a rusted red paint app for $25 each. Unable to attend the con? Then you’ll be glad to know that Daniel will also have a limited number of the C2E2 Elephantos in his store for the duration of the event!

Blurble has been hard at work on his latest Ooze-It themed release, proudly presenting the awesome “OozeOozeOoze” foam ball! Inspired by cult gross-out line “Madballs”, Shigeru Arai’s highly sought after “NagNagNag” ball, and more recently, The Disarticulators’ “Oozeball”, the beautifully realised piece has been sculpted in-scale at around 3″ across, coming cast in a squishy paintable foam similar to the original 80’s balls. Originally teased here just last week, the debut figure from Eagle Eye Prime – Stardust: The Super Wizard – is now up for grabs! Based on legendary cartoonist Fletcher Hanks’ 1939 superhero of the same name, the stunning, vintage-styled figure has been meticulously sculpted in the artist’s bizarre, compelling style, coming it at around 8″ of articulated Japanese soft vinyl. Produced in a light blue with masked red, flesh and yellow sprays, this first release comes packed with a Hanks-inspired mini comic written and illustrated by Benjamin Marra. MAN-E-NEWS// The F***ing Four Fingers sofubi from TerribleWhore…
First seen as finished clay prototype back in January, the debut sofubi from TerribleWhore – the F***ing Four Fingers – will finally be making its debut at Superfestival 68 this weekend! Heavily inspired by the iconic Sneagator Claw kinkeshi/M.U.S.C.L.E mini figure, the upscaled piece features near identical textures to the original, as well as a couple of interesting new design revisions; “mouth” palm and “eye” fingers that resemble a face, and a haunting 4-eyed skull that replaces the Sneagator’s head on the index finger. Whilst a full reveal is still to come, it would appear that FFF will be debuting in a black vinyl with silver, metallic blue and red sprays. Touching down at the Mitari/Tonite Superfestival 68 booth (#c-26) this Sunday, April 26th for an undisclosed sum, a limited number of the figure have been held back for international sales, so be sure to stay tuned for release details, plus a full reveal, soon…
MAN-E-NEWS// The Rampage Toys x Devil Robots “Tofu-Tank” sofubi micros…
Originally teased in prototype form way back in February (check it here), the Tofu sofubi micro from Devil Robots and Rampage Toys has finally seen the light of day in vinyl- well, half of it anyway! Featuring the classic Tofu cube head, the first round of figures come complete with Rampage’s Gachapon Goblin Tank as a base whilst the original body awaits completion. Due to be making an appearance at Devil Robots’ Superfestival 68 booth this Sunday, April 26th, pricing and edition size is still to be confirmed… Here’s hoping for a general release in the Rampage store soon!

It’s quickly coming to the end of yet another month and predictably, we all know what that means… a fresh batch of lottery sales from Elegab! Gargamel and Misty Fog Toys‘ Le Merde have teamed up for the release of their latest collaborative sofubi, the incredible Gacha Daimoai! Blending elements from both companies back catalog – namely Gargamel’s recent Scopedog figure and Misty Fog’s Moai finger puppets – the “mystery gacha” series features a number of different Easter Island-style sofubi micros that can be connected together to form a mid-size VOTOMS inspired robot. Due to be making it’s debut at Gargamel’s upcoming 3rd Annual “Thrashout” show this Saturday, April 25th for just 500yen ($4) a piece, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the line receives a more general release soon…

Produced by Velocitron in a choice selection of unpainted black and flesh-toned soft vinyl, Uneasy Joe will be up for grabs at the STKL Toys booth this Saturday, April 25th for £25 or just £45 for the pair, with every customer receiving a free t-shirt whilst supplies last… Unable to attend the con? In celebration of his “Mechawhale” You Tube channel joining the Frederator Network, Hauke Scheer over at Deep Fried Figures has expanded the brand’s toy line with a whole slew of new figures plus a custom kit for the original PVC release! First up, we have the arrival of the latest Mechawhale, Beluga. Based on the character’s animation model from the beloved web series, the figure stands at little under 3″ tall – in scale with the PVC version – coming 3D printed in a number of separate parts ready for you to assemble and paint. Next up, we have the Human Troopers and Alien Invaders. Representing both the good and bad factions of the Mechawhales battle, these 1 part minis range from just 0.5″-2.5″ each, again coming 3D printed in an unpainted white plastic. Last, but by no means least, we have the Captain Moby customizing set. Created for use with the original Mechawhale PVC figure, these additions – including a new gun arm and eye target – can be attached to transform the piece into the fearsome whale last seen in the first episode of Mechawhales… All currently up for grabs in Deep Fried Figures’ Sculpteo store right here, prices range between $7.85 to $88.13 dependant on size and finish…
