Devils Head Productions have revealed that they’ll be teaming up with illustrator Scarecrowoven for a very special Alavaka release! Bwana Spoons over at Gravy Toys has just revealed that the Suns Of Brodarr’s Lonny will be returning for an all-new “Orange is the New Crack” painted run today! As if the FAKE BARON finger puppet revealed earlier in the week wasn’t enough, the guys over at the Hong Kong-based Awesome Toy have announced that not one, not two, but three more miniature takes on the classic pachi (bootleg) Red Baron will be up for grabs soon too! Featuring a standard 2-part mini, an SD (super deformed) mini and a vintage-style pendant design, all three – as with the previously revealed finger puppet – are nearing the final stages of clay prototyping, with soft vinyl production planned in the very near future. With the first batch of the Disarticulators’ Oozeball sofubi now having made their way into collectors’ homes, a number of customs have started popping up in the wild- the first of which we’ll be featuring coming in the form of this incredible piece from artist Arturo Ulloa… Utilising the NYCC exclusive “Moon Dust” version of the ball, the glittery figure has been treated to subtle metallic sprays across its cratered surface, with the detail on both the front and rear face beautifully highlighted with contrasting hot and cold metallic sprays. Whilst we believe that the stunning custom will be staying in the artist’s personal collection indefinitely, anyone looking for a similar piece – and of course, has the figure to spare – can hit Art up directly through his Instagram account here with any enquiries… Look out for more custom Oozeballs in the near future!

Whilst it was great to see The Disarticulators’ Oozeball sofubi receive a limited painted run at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 a few weeks back, we know that a few of you guys were a bit disappointed that the release was limited to Japan only- well fear not, as we’re proud to reveal that an alternative “silver” version of the said “Vintage OG” edition will be touching down in the Man-E-Toys store later this week!
