Focusing on just 2 collaborative pieces this time around, the guys have teamed up with none other than Itokin Park for a space wrestler version of their classic Lucha Bear sofubi, and with Japanese apparel brand Punk Drunkers for a mini interpretation of their “He” mascot. With Lucha Bear debuting in limited quantities at the Itokin Park Wonderfestival booth this coming Sunday, February 8th, expect to find He in the Punk Drunkers online store a day earlier on Saturday, February 7th at 12am Japan time. The latest figure to join the ever-growing world of B.A.S.T.A.R.D bootleg minis, this 2.5″ tall reinterpretation of the the Mighty Duck’s leading puck pugilist “Wildwing Flashblade” has been kit-bashed and intensively re-sculpted using a selection of vintage mini figures. Motorbot has just revealed that his latest resin figure, the adorable Lil Smoggy, is now up for grabs online! Directly inspired by Godzilla’s Hedorah, the mini smog monster has been hand sculpted and cast by the artist, standing at a mid-sized 4″ tall. Available with your choice of either a classically-styled paint job or in GID with a detail hugging black rub, both versions of the little guy can be found in the Meathead Toys store right here for just $30 a piece. Keshi collectors heading to Wondefestival next weekend are going to be in for a treat, as not only can they expect the previously posted figures from Zoomoth, Shamrock Arrow and FTWR Toy, Newtervision will also be throwing his hat into the ring with a fresh batch of officially licensed Karnov mini figure! Based on the lead protagonist in the obscure 1987 platform arcade game from Data East, the Russian strong man has been perfectly realised in classic keshi form, this time around coming cast in a mix of black, blue and flesh toned rubber complete with resin “power-up” ladder accessory. Due to be going on sale exclusively at the Paralyzing Toyz WF booth this coming Sunday, February 8th, Karnov is likely to be priced at around 3,000yen ($30)… Look out for details on Newtervision’s second Wonderfestival release, the M.O.T.U.L.O.S x MASH collaborative playset tomorrow!

Since the “Marble Madness” Lucky Bag drop last week, we’ve had a number of enquiries as to whether the “Critters Inspired” mini figure will ever receive another “single” release… Well fear not, as the little guy will be making his next standalone appearance as part of a Gory Hole exclusive very soon! Designed and sculpted by Zectron with production duties handed over to our very own Tru:Tek, these black/grey marbled “Shocker” Crites will be dropping alongside the very first issue of the long-awaited Gory Hole ‘zine at the end of the month. Pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed at present, but it’s likely that the little guys will be bundled with a copy of the publication for around $25 each… Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!

Restore have just revealed that their NEO JAPAN sofubi will be making a return at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 this weekend with an all-new “Oni-Sakura” (demon) head sculpt! Produced in what appears to be an off-white soft vinyl for this first release, the intricately painted figure features a staggering total of 33 different paint masks, coming in a tight selection of light pink, blue, green, red and gold sprays. Touching down in limited numbers at the Restore WF booth (5-08-15) this Sunday, February 8th, the Oni-Sakura NEO JAPAN has been priced at just 10,000yen ($85). Look out for news on a Western release – presumably through partners Lulubell Toys – over the next few weeks!
But that’s not all… Continuing the NEO JAPAN saga, Restore will also be unleashing their latest garage-kit style release, the jaw-dropping Ideapey Domination! Standing a little over 19″ tall and featuring an impressive 29 individually hand cast resin pieces, the gorgeous figure will be available in super-limited quantities for 30,000yen ($256)- an absolute bargain for such a big hand crafted piece!

Joining new versions of their officially licensed Azteckaiser keshi at Wonderfestval Winter 2015 this weekend, the guys over at Shamrock Arrow have unveiled an all-new original mini figure they’ll also be dropping at the event, the awesome Ninja Heaven! Standing at an oversized 2.5″ tall, the beautifully sculpted figure has been produced in 3 different rubber colorways for it’s initial outing; a classic keshi-gomu style flesh, jet black and a proto grey. Coming packed in a stunning custom foil pack complete with stat card and insert with art from Newtervision, the figure will be up for grabs at the Paralyzing Toyz WF booth (5-05-01) for around 3,000yen ($26). Originally teased here in wax prototype form early last month, Jungle‘s latest line of sofubi minis – Ma-jo of Guruja – is set to make it’s debut soon! Whilst details on the project are still thin on the ground at the moment, it would appear that the Neclos Fortress-inspired series will feature a total of 5 different characters designed and sculpted by various Jungle artists including Uky Daydreamer; the OTA Swordsman, Knight, Drunk Mage, Candy-Chan Dragon and Cackling Goblin; each coming with a number of different accessories plus a treasure box to store them all in. Pictured here in an unpainted light green soft vinyl, we can only assume that this colorway will be marking the series’ debut at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 at the weekend- keep track of the Jungle Artist Collection Instagram feed right here for confirmation soon!

Hot on the heels of “The Dissolution of Smoke” release just a few weeks back, up and coming sofubi producer Algangu have revealed that they will be unleashing the second colorway of their debut sofubi “Tin Bear Teacher” at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 this weekend! Inspired by the Tinman from the Wizard of Oz, the adorable vintage-styled bot stands at around 4″ tall and comes with 3 points of articulation. Produced in a light mint green soft vinyl and treated to a minimal pink, red and black paint app, the little guy will be available at Alganu’s Wonderfestival booth (5-11-13) for an undisclosed sum… Here’s hoping the figure sees an online release soon!

Upstart keshi outfit FTWR Toy are proud to reveal that they’ll be debuting 2 new mini figures at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 this weekend, the first to feature on Man-E-Toys coming in the form of the awesome Zombie Army! Based on FTWR’s recent Bikkuriman-style sticker release, the 2.5″ tall keshi – pictured here as a finished wax proto – is due to come cast in a variety of classic keshi colors, coming complete with a couple of neat design features inspired by knock-off kinkeshi- an embedded blade in the shoulder and a lead pipe that can be removed from the chest! Having been teased here over the past couple of weeks, we can now finally reveal Awesome Toy‘s Loch Ness Monster sofubi in-full! Inspired by easily the most obscure and hard to obtain figure from the iconic Stretch Armstrong line – the Stretch Serpent – the stunning 4″ tall figure features a number of design alterations that better suit the new medium, including a revised head sculpt plus a small curling tail similar to Leo Boya’s Guzo Kaiju. Currently available via preorder through the Toy Underground store right here, 2 unpainted colorways are up for grabs; a standard green and keshi-gomu style flesh, both coming in at a very reasonable $30 each plus shipping. Expect delivery at some point in March 2015…

Garnering a huge amount of attention in the East for his incredible horror themed Bikkuriman-style stickers, artist Kotobuki Man over at Uncut has just revealed that his debut keshi “Splatter Retsuden” will be making an appearance at Wonderfestival Winter 2015 this weekend! Inspired by cult horror flick The Burning’s lead protagonist “Cropsey”, the oversized mini figure has been hand sculpted by the artist, coming cast in a selection of vintage green, flesh and neon pink rubber. Up for grabs in limited quantities at the Zoomoth Wonderfestival booth, attendees can expect to pay around 3,000yen ($26) for the piece… Here’s hoping the little guy sees an overseas release soon!

Our good friend Peter Kato has kindly shared the first in a long list of new sculpts that’ll be arriving just in time for Valentines Day, proudly presenting the Eye Heart Bunnies! Based on his super-popular Bedtime Bunnies, this modified 3D sculpt replaces the original eyes with love hearts inspired by the “I’m in love” emoji. Standing at the medium sized 3″ tall, the first wave of bunnies have been produced by Peter in a choice of his/hers light blue and pink resin with neon pink hand painted detailing. Limited to just 12 pieces of each, the little guys will be up for grabs in Peter’s store this coming Thursday, January 5th at 8pm Eastern time for just $25 a piece… But that’s not all! Joining the Eye Heart Bunnies, Peter will also have a new batch of Sleeptime Bunnies up for grabs too. Produced in a marshmallow white resin and treated to pink highlights, these have been limited to just 20 priced at $12 each…

With Wonderfestival Winter ’15 just around the corner, the guys over at Zoomoth have just revealed the second 1 day license they’ve secured for the event, once again taking on Ghost ‘n Goblins’ mascot Red Arremer! A follow-up to 2013’s release – pictured on the right – this latest iteration has been inspired by the gargoyle’s third solo outing, obscure Super Famicom platformer, Demon’s Blazon: Demon World Village Crest Volume. Perfectly realised in Zoomoth’s oversized keshi-scale, the beast comes in at a super-detailed 2.75″- the biggest keshi from the team to date. Due to be produced in the now standard palette of flesh, red, green and blue, the rubber mini will be up for grabs alongside the previously posted Bill Rizer at the Zoomoth Wonderfestival booth for around 3,000yen ($26) each- time to get a reliable toy mule sorted, or face those steep aftermarket prices!
