It’s taken some time but here he is… I must say I’m always blown away with the detail and quality of Triplikid’s resins, so good! I was going to pop this guy in the store today but just received an email from ToyCon UK reminding me it’s only a couple of months away – so I’m going to hold onto him until then. If you fancy seeing him make sure you pop over to the booth I’m sharing with Jon-Paul Kaiser…”

Easily the most obscure and hard to obtain figure from the iconic Stretch Armstrong line – with recent auctions securing prices topping $9000 – fans of the figure will now finally be able to secure a version that, whilst won’t stretch like the original, will be relatively easy to obtain, and more importantly won’t break the bank! Due to be produced in soft vinyl, Awesome Toy have made a number of adjustments to better suit the medium, including a slightly revised head plus a curling tail similar to Leo Boya’s Guzo Kaiju that replaces the original’s straight design. Whilst a release date is still to be confirmed, the near finished teaser of the neck joint shown above would suggest we don’t have too much longer to wait before Nessy makes it into production… Keep track of the Awesome Toy Instagram feed here for more developments soon!
