Previously released at Superfestival 67 last weekend, Gargamel‘s latest round of “Cast Figures” – Set E – is now available to overseas customers for a limited time! Featuring a total of 5 keshi style mini figures including the Toxic Conifer, Zag and Deathra, the little guys have been hand cast in a keshi-gomu flesh resin this time around. MAN-E-NEWS// UME Toys’ Millard Buckston figure revealed…

Artist Rich Page has been hard at work on the latest addition to the ever growing UME Toys family, introducing the creepy-yet-cute Millard Buckston! Standing at a lofty 7″ tall, the figure has been hand sculpted by Rich using Super Sculpey, coming painted in a monotone palette of block acrylics and washes. Unfortunately just a one-off at present, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a limited resin run at some point in the near future…

MAN-E-NEWS// Rampage Studios’ 2 Year Anniversary Party announced…

Jon Malmstedt over at the Tokyo-based Rampage Studios will be celebrating the gallery space’s 2nd anniversary in style next week with a special keshi party! Featuring an extensive display from a whole slew of awesome makers and artists, including Nerdone, Zoomoth, Newtervision, Nama Niku and Tru:Tek, a few select items will be up for grabs too, the particulars of which will be revealed closer to the event. Opening it’s doors at the gallery space on Friday, January 23rd, any leftovers from the party will be up for grabs in the Rampage store soon after…

Bigmantoys is ringing in the new year with a cacophony of resurrected 5.5″ resin chaos this week! Touching down in-store this Thursday, January 15th at Midnight London time, a total of 3 classic figures will be returning from the grave including the long awaited return of Treegarr in 2 alternative colorways. Here’s a quick rundown of exactly what will be on offer…

Treegar// Bigmantoys’s highly underrated 5.5″ is back, this time around coming with all-new re-tooled joints! Available in 2 different colorways limited to just 3 a piece – “Bloodbound” cast in a clear resin with a red gloss paint app, and “Totally toxic”, in a neon green resin with purple accents, black washes, and Treegarr’s classic glowing yellow eyes – both have been priced at $75 each plus shipping.

Chicken Leg// The Golden-Axe inspired figure is back with it’s first alternative colorway, Slime Green! Again, limited to just 3 pieces, the mount – perfect displayed on it’s own or with a 5.5″ scaled figure riding on the back – has been produced in an unpainted clear green resin this time around, coming in at just $55 a piece.

Moribund// Back by popular demand after the first sellout release last year, the officially Samhain-endorsed Moribund sees it’s third colorway, neon Punk Pink! Once again limited to just 3 pieces, the custom bootleg Skeleton Warrior can be yours for just $60.

Previewed here last week, we can now reveal release details for Frank Kozik and BlackBook Toy‘s upcoming A Clockwork Carrot “Haunted” Lil Alex sofubi! Standing at around 9″ tall and featuring 4 points of articulation, the Clockwork Orange inspired piece has been produced in both smoke-clear and matt black soft vinyl this time around, coming with a mix of grey, white and gold masked sprays. Originally due to be making it’s debut at last weekend’s Superfestival in Tokyo, the figure will instead be released online through the BlackBook Toy store on January 15th at 10pm Eastern time. Pricing is still to be confirmed, but we’re guessing the figure will be available for around $125 plus shipping (TBC)…

Super7 have just revealed that their Pocket Rose Vampire will be sprouting forth from the soil once more this week in a special Marbled Menace colorway! Unbox Industries are proud to reveal that they’ve teamed up with Uamou for a giant size version of their signature horned figure! Unveiled this week at the Hong Kong Toy Fair alongside a whole host of other upcoming releases – a couple of which we’ll be featuring later in the week – the piece appears to stand around 6 times the height of the standard 3″ Uamou sofubi mini, coming in at around 16″-18″ (TBC) from tip to toe. Pictured above in what appears to be a hard, matt black vinyl, we’ll be keeping our fingers that this super sleek colorway makes the cut once the figure finally sees the light of day later on in the year. Up and coming toy artist TerribleWhore has just unveiled the prototype for his debut sofubi, the F***ing Four Fingers! Heavily inspired by the iconic Sneagator Claw kinkeshi/M.U.S.C.L.E mini figure, the upscaled piece features near identical textures to the original, as well as introducing some interesting new design revisions; a “mouth” palm and “eye” fingers that resemble a face, plus a haunting 4-eyed skull that replaces the Sneagators face on the index. Having made a brief appearance at NYCC in October last year, Monster Namahage‘s Cobratrice (CobraKing) mini figure is finally seeing a super-limited Artist Proof release this week! Meticulously kit-bashed and re-sculpted from a mix of classic M.I.M.P and M.U.S.C.L.E designs, the little guy has been produced by our very own Tru:Tek over at the Disart ToyLabs in a sleek “proto” grey keshi-style rubber. Limited to an edition of just 5 pieces, the AP Cobratrice will be touching down in the Monster Namahage store this Friday, January 9th at 8pm MESZ for an undisclosed sum…

Richard Page over at UME Toys has been hard at work on something a little different to his usual resin output, switching out the cute for the creepy with his first ever relief wall plaque release, Nostro the Vampyre! A loving homage to the Symphony of Horror – Nosferatu – the hand sculpt and cast head has been hand painted in a number of ghoulish acrylic washes, coming mounted on an custom 7.5″ x 5.5″ antiqued frame. Limited to an edition of just 10 for this first release, Nostro is currently up for grabs via preorder in the UME Toys store for £85 plus shipping…

Having just got back to Tokyo after a trip over to the States, Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt has wasted no time at all in getting back to the grind, revealing a whole slew of releases that’ll be up for grabs at Superfestival 67 this Sunday (1/11)… including the Rampage 2015 Lucky Bags! Featuring a total of 8 figures this time around, each bag is set to come packed with an exclusive Salary Ugly Unicorn, a Rotten-X or Gnaw-X either painted or blank, a Goto-san painted Lab Mice or Cyclops Dino set (containing 3 figures each), plus an exclusive color blank Lab Mice or Cyclops Dino set alongside test-shots, one-offs and other miscellaneous extras for the bargain sum of just $165 each.

MAN-E-NEWS// The Disarticulators’ Oozeball sofubi test shot revealed…

Revealed right here as a finished wax prototype last month, we are very proud to finally be able to share the very first vinyl test shots of The Disarticulators‘ Oozeball sofubi! A follow-up to last years hugely popular keshi-ball release, the DA’s Tru:Tek has completely redesigned the figure from the ground up for the new medium, opting for a more organic, Ooze-It like face, paper clay-style textures and the pièce de résistance… a hidden face inspired by Georges Méliès iconic 1902 silent movie, Le Voyage dans la Lune! Beautifully sculpted by none other than Zectron, the 2-part design has been upscaled from the original 2″ diameter to little over 3″- making it both more in-keeping with the classic Madball scale, and, more interestingly, compatible with a wide variety of mid-sized kaiju with the capped base removed… Pictured here in a gorgeous hot pink soft vinyl – a color we’re sure to see more of in future releases – the ball comes with 2 unique design features inspired by the original Ooze-It doll; a vintage-style matt finish, plus that all-important, super-squishy feel. With preorders from the recent “OG Ooze-It Green” sale winging their way to early adopters within the next few weeks, expect the first painted release to follow soon after…

Standing at around 9″ tall and featuring 4 points of articulation, the Clockwork Orange inspired piece has been produced in a smoke-clear soft vinyl this time around, coming with a mix of black, grey, white and gold masked sprays. Originally due to be making it’s debut at this weekend’s Superfestival in Tokyo, BlackBook are unfortunately unavailable to attend the event, so the release has been slated for online soon. Stay tuned for full release details over the next couple of weeks!
