A jumbo-sized, 6″ tall rendition of the original 3.5″ resin mini figure, Sparrow 2.0 has once again been digitally sculpted by iamscumbag, coming complete with 2 fully interchangeable heads, 3 points of articulation, a fully working skateboard accessory plus an extra hat for good measure. Produced by Dubose Art in an unpainted flesh tone rubber, the one-off figure will be up for grabs alongside a whole host of donated toys, paintings and prints through the dedicated Funds For Seth Instagram page starting at 9pm Pacific time this Friday, November 28th. Hot on the heals of their recent Kaibutsu Series run – of which a couple of sets can still be found right here – DeathCat Toys have once again teamed up with KtoKto for an all-new finger puppet style release, Oni Mira! Conceived by DeathCat’s Johan Ulrich and sculpted by KtoKto, the demonic mummy has been heavily inspired by Bikkuriman and the classic Ma-Ba Zombies toy line, sculpted in-scale at around 3″ tall and coming with a split torso, capped bottom design. Taking on a more traditional kaiju aesthetic than both Lolgolth Gnazgoroth and the recently revealed Sextopigon, the pair blend elements of 80’s nostalgia, giant monster cinema energy, and mythology to devastating effect. Utilising the recent resin prototype version – of which just 1 remains in-store right here – the artist has treated the 3″ diameter Madball-style figure to his signature “Titanium” paint app, coming with a silver base layered with an array of stunning clear blue, purple, green and yellow sprays.
