The fine chaps over at Goodleg Toys have just unveiled their latest resin action figure masterpiece, the fearsome Shark Norris! Standing at around 3.75″ tall, the amphibious, gun totting action hero has been 100% originally sculpted, coming cast in resin, hand painted with acrylics and packed on a custom blistered card back. Touching down on the Goodleg store tonight (11/9) at 11.30pm GMT+1, Shark Norris will be available for just $70 plus shipping… Still haven’t picked up the latest GT Surf Nazi figure, Hook? Then you’ll be glad to know that he’ll be up for grabs as part of a package deal with Norris for just $130 shipped!

Having debuted at NYCC last month, James Groman‘s Lazzuraxx Idol of Ressurection returns for Designer Con 2014 this weekend courtesy of Lulubell Toys! Featuring the original 2.5″ tall design that was created as a pendant for Groman’s Rotten Rexx figure, this has been joined by a new upscaled version that can be worn as a standalone piece of jewellery. Hand cast in resin, treated to several detail hugging washes and finished with authentic beaded string necklaces, both Idols will be up for grabs at the Lulubell Toys booth over the next 2 days for around $25 and $50 respectively (TBC)…

Continuing his onslaught of new toys this week, Skinner has just revealed yet another upcoming vinyl figure in the works, the “whispering prince” Morgogg! Taking on a more traditional kaiju aesthetic than both Sextopigon and Lolgolth Gnazgoroth, the large-size figure has been designed by Skinner with sculpting duties once again handed over to the hugely talented David Arshawsky– the original sculptor of the ’88 TMNT line and Skinner’s recent Lurker minis. Previewing at Designer Con booth #525 this weekend, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for more information on this awesome figure soon…

UPDATE// Whilst we previously thought that Morgogg would just be on display at DCon, it would appear that the figure is actually available to buy! With 2 different versions up for grabs; a cyclops and caveman/barbarian, both have been produced in an unpainted wax green soft vinyl for this first release, coming complete with matching club accessories. Available at booth #525 alongside the pictured DCon excluisve “BatBog”, the figures have been priced at just $150 each…

In lieu of Design Fiesta 40 and Designer Con 2014 this weekend, the guys over at Kikake Toy have decided to offer up a few new items in their online store for those unable to attend the events! Featuring the debut of an all-new “Iron” mini – the Thomas the Tank Engine inspired Den-Tetsu-Jin – in a painted metallic green/blue, these are to be joined by the latest round of Roly Poly the Bomb figures dubbed “Cult Balls”, coming in a variety of one-off colors complete with a stunning zig-zag masked paint app. Available alongside a whole host of other as-yet-unrevealed goodies in the Kikake store this Sunday, November 9th at 11.30pm Japan time, pricing and edition size for both Den-Tetsu-Jin and the Cult Balls are still to be confirmed…

Two of the resin action figure scene’s heavyweights – Ben Spencer of Galaxxor and Extra-Truckestrial Customs – have joined forces for their first collaborative release, the Barbalien Warrior and Magus 2 Pack! Created in the same vein as Galaxxor’s previous Cyborg Space Barbarians and Grape-Apes, the 5.5″ Barbalien features the body from a vintage MOTU buck ingeniously coupled with an in-scale Alien head. Recast in resin by Extra-Truckestrial, the figure was then treated to Galaxxor’s black-on-neon paint app complete with removable skull trophy necklace. Joined by one of ET’s infamous bootleg budhas (Magus) – this time around sporting a reduced Alien head, clear acrylic display and matching paint app – the pair have been limited to just 5 sets this time around, coming in at $85 each plus shipping. Look out for the duo in the Galaxxor store this coming Monday, November 10th at Noon CDT…

Blurble has just revealed that he will be making an appearance at Lulubell ToysDCon booth this weekend, bringing with him a ton of new resin, keshi and custom vinyl figures! Whilst we won’t get to see all of what will be on offer until the doors open tomorrow, the artist has very kindly shared 3 of the main releases that will be up for grabs…

Sparrow Christmas// Bringing a bit of early festive cheer to DCon, these 3″ tall figures have been cast in a Christmassy, glitter red/green swirled resin. Coming complete with removable hat and skateboard accessory, these have been priced at just $20 each.

Ooze in My Pocket// The miniature Oozey returns for yet another awesome marbled release, this time around in a mix of neon blue, pink and black keshi rubber. Packed with a button and sticker, these can be yours for just $12 each.

The Muckster (top)// Saving the best for last, Blurble proudly presents his latest resin figure, the Muckster! A collaboration with Selfishlittle, the sludgy monstrosity stands at around 6″ of hand cast resin. Available in a number of different layered, one-off colorways, these have been priced at $40 a piece.

Toy Art Gallery have just announced their huge line-up for Designer Con 2014 this weekend, featuring a slew of brand-new releases, exclusive editions from some of their favourite artists, new apparel, production toys, and more! Healeymade has just unveiled that his latest figure, Trou Noir, will be debuting at Designer Con 2014 this weekend. With a name that rather aptly translates as “Black Hole”, the 6″ figure has actually been booted from a French “Black Hole” Kinnikuman knock-off, coming cast in a gorgeous metallic glitter purple resin that mimics the infamous mini figure bootlegs of the 1980s. Touching down at the Galactic Jerkbags booth (#1228) alongside a whole host of MUSCLE/MASK minis in both MIMP purple and green, pricing and edition size for Trou Noir are still to be confirmed…

Hitting Designer Con 2014 this weekend harder than ever before, the duo behind Double Parlour have just revealed that they’ll be bringing along over 70 different figures to the event! Featuring a number of one-off sculptures, resin multiples and a few figures nestled in between, highlights from the swathe of reveals so far include a micro-runs of Rowm, Melvyn and Franky Frick, a batch of masked Bahnee sofubi, the 16th Miette, plus a ton of individually sculpted Butterball minis. Whilst Jeremi Rimmel over at Miscreation Toys will have a number of different Autopsy Baby releases planned across both days of Designer Con this weekend, it’s the recently revealed Autopsy Zombie GMO Babies that have caught our attention- just ripe enough to eat! Well, maybe not… Produced in a bright yellow vinyl and treated to a realistic banana skin brown rub, the bunch of 9″ tall sofubi have each been finished off with an authentic Chiquita banana label. Touching down at the Miscreation Toys booth (#1028) on Sunday, November 9th at some point in the morning, expect to pay around $125 each for these genetically modified freaks…

The guys over at Fantastic Plastic Toys are proud to reveal the next step in their ever growing line of anthropomorphic wrestling minis, presenting Mystical Warriors of the Ring: Evolution! Scrapping the original static M.U.S.C.L.E-style approach in favour of the full articulated and interchangeable Glyos system, the team at FPT have been hard at work over the past year developing the series alongside Matt Doughty (Onell Design), Marty “Godbeast” Hansen and True Cast Studio, with the fruits of their labour – the mighty Goliath – debuting at Designer Con 2014 this weekend. Originally releasing as a limited edition urethane mini at C2E2 last year, the lumbering giant returns in the same 2″ scale, this time around in an affordable PVC with over 7 different parts and articulation. Limited to an edition of just 40 sets in the pictured test-shot brown – the same brown that’s been used in recent Glyos releases – the figure will be up for grabs at booth #300 for just $30 each… Fingers crossed for an online release soon after!

Whilst the incredible Lolgolth Gnazgoroth is still to see an official release, Skinner has already set about working on a new figure that’ll push producers Unbox Industries even further than before, introducing the mighty Sextopigon! Designed by Skinner and sculpted by David Arshawsky – the original designer/sculptor of the original TMNT line and Skinner’s recent Lurker minis – the hugely ambitious figure features a staggering 9 legs and 6 arms, all coming complete with at least 1 point of articulation each! Currently undergoing production with the help of an as-yet-unconfirmed “vinyl master”, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for more news on this jaw-dropping piece soon…

DeathCat Toys and Nerdone have just revealed that their collaborative “Nekos in My Pocket” playset will be returning for Designer Con 2014 courtesy of Toy Art Gallery! Featuring the MOTU/Neclos inspired MOTULOS castle in an orange soft vinyl with dark orange and brown sprays, this has once again been joined by a DeathCat keshi companion, coming in a choice of either solid purple or orange rubber. Packed in the all-new custom MOTULOS box co-created by both Deathcat and Nerdone, the edition of 20 sets (TBC) are likely to set you back around $80 each. The guys over at DKE Toys are proud to present the final exclusive they’ll have up for grabs at Designer Con 2014 this weekend, the ADAT point5 from Bill McMullen! A one-half size replica of the artist’s original ADAT vinyl toy released over 10 years ago, this hand cast and painted resin figure stands almost 6 inches tall, coming housed in a box inspired by the original’s packaging alongside a small replica of Bill McMullen’s ‘OLD SCHOOL INVASION’ artwork. Debuting at the DKE Toys booth (#1230) as part of a limited “Early Bird” release for just $200 each, a full run is planned for the general public soon after- more news on that once it’s been confirmed!

DCon Electricboy// Originally making an appearance in the recent Halloween Unlucky Bags, Comet Debris’ latest figure makes it’s official debut at DCon! Inspired by classic Japanese toy lines such as Henshin Cyborg and Micronauts, the beautifully realised mid-sized figure has been produced in a gorgeous unpainted clear glitter vinyl, coming in at just $55 a piece.

DCon Kappa Kid// Comet Debris adorable Kewpie-style figure returns for DCon with an all-new capped head sculpt! Produced in a purple vinyl with masked cream/blue sprays and subtle pink highlights, the little guy can be yours for just $30.

DCon Kappa Shonen// Kappa Kid’s big brother Shonen will also be making an appearance this weekend as part of Comet Debris new “Into the Future” series. Produced in a striking silver glitter vinyl with grey and silver masked sprays, the mid-sized figure has been priced at $60.

DCon Sametan// Produced in a mesmerising mix of blue marbled tones and treated to a minimal paint application, the DCon Sametans have been priced at just $45 each. Sametan subscribers will be glad to know that this version will be sent out as part of your subscription package.

DCon Ace Robo// The only micro-run to feature in Comet Debris’ line-up this year, Ace Robo’s limited batch of 5 have all been produced in a gold glitter soft vinyl complete with masked black and white sprays for just $60 a piece.

Kit-bashed and re-sculpted by the artist from various vintage Kinnikuman, Battle Beast and Exogini figures, the ingenious creation stands at around 2″ tall, coming cast up by Nilla in a super-playable keshi-style rubber.
