Barry Allen aka Gorgoloid has taken on 2 of M1GO’s “Woo” and “Garamon” kaiju for his latest round of one-off customs! With Woo standing at around 9″ tall and Garamon 7″, the pair have both been produced in a flesh Japanese soft vinyl, coming complete with a number of neon metallic Monster Kolor sprays and hand brushed detailing from the artist. Priced at $120 for Woo and just $80 for Garamon, the pair can currently be found in the Gorgoloid store right here

The guys over at Good For You Toys have teamed up with Dan Goodsell of Mr Toast fame for their latest Star Wars-inspired release… the Toast Wars “Darth Bacon” figure! Sculpted and produced in resin by none other than Junkfed, this thick slice of darkside is due to come hand painted and carded on an authentic Star Wars inspired backer with art from Goodsell. We’ve still no news of when or where the little fella is to be released, but you can be sure that as soon as we find out, you guys will be the first to know…

Originally dropping alongside a whole host of exclusives at STGCC last week (most of which were extensively covered right here), Daniel Yu is proud to announce that 2 previously unrevealed figures – the “Cherokee Spirit” Bird Shaman and Spirit of Yeoda – will be touching down online this Friday, September 12th at 9pm EST! Here’s the lowdown on the unlikely duo…

“Cherokee Spirit” Bird Shaman- To our knowledge, the first GI Joe style 3.75″ figure to come from Daniel, this beautifully sculpted piece features a removable “spirit staff” and a total of 4 points of neo-mag articulation. Coming hand cast in a stunning mixed purple resin for this first release, edition size and pricing are still to be confirmed.

The Spirit of Yeoda- Based on Signapore artist Yeonardo‘s horned-hand headed Yeoda illustration, this 2″ figure has been bootlegged from a vintage Yoda figure, coming with additional sculpting from Daniel. Produced in a holo-blue inspired clear resin for this run, pricing and edition size on these are also still to be confirmed.

Shigeo Endo of new Japanese toy company Bukimi Blasters is proud to announce details of his debut release, the Evil Demon sofubi! Standing at around 6″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the neo-kaiju beast has been produced in a light green soft vinyl for it’s initial outing, coming with a mix of vintage Tokyo-inspired green, yellow, red and black sprays. Packed with a severed head omake (not pictured), the OG Evil Demon will be touching down on the newly opened Bukimi Blasters store this Friday, September 12th at 11pm EST for $120 plus shipping. Supplies are said to be super-limited, so we suggest heading over early to avoid disappointment!

Pop artist David Bondi has just revealed that the latest version of his Astronocchio figure has just touched down in his online store! A hilarious mash-up of Disney’s Pinocchio and Tezuka’s Astroboy, the originally sculpted figure stands at around 5″ tall, coming hand cast by the artist in a bright “blacklight yellow resin inspired by the classic Disney Marx figures of the early 1970’s. Limited to an edition of just 25, each Astronocchio is packed on a resealable blister card that pays homage to classic Disney graphics and Japanese robot schematics. Having worked on numerous art toy figures over the past year – including Radioactive Uppercut’s 8-Ball and Blurble’s Sparrow to name but two – Joshua Sutton over at ERA Sculpture has finally decided to unleash his own resin toy, proudly presenting Skulor: The Worm King! Designed/sculpted by Josh and produced by Dubose Art, the hideous iron-jawed, skull/worm hybrid stands at around 2.25″ x 3.75″ of solid hand cast resin. Currently up for grabs in the ERA Sculpture store right here, one-off painted customs like the one above can be found for $40, whilst blank, 2-tone marble versions can be yours for just $28…

Yep, yet more news from Rampage Toys this week, as owner Jon Malmstedt reveals yet another brand new figure that’ll be debuting at both Superfestival 66 and NYCC in just a few weeks time… the Rampage Kaibutsuya “Kesagake” sofubi! The first release in the ongoing “Giant Monster Animal Shop” series (previously announced here), the menacing 10.5″ grizzly was inspired by the Sankebetsu Brown Bear Incident in Hokkaido Higuma- widely known as the worst bear attack in Japanese history. Pictured here as an initial black vinyl test shot – along with settler omake! -expect the first painted run to be revealed over the next couple of weeks…

Originally revealed as a near-finished clay proto way back here in early July, we’re very proud today to be able to reveal that NolanJP‘s second movie themed GPK-style figure, Iceclops, is finally undergoing production courtesy of Tru:Tek over at the Disart ToyLabs! Paying tribute to Ray Harryhausen’s iconic beast from 1958′s The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, the ingenious mash-up of monster and doll stands at around the same height as the previously released Scary Larry at 2.5″, coming complete with – in true GPK style – an icecream cone horn and lumbering mace. Due to be making its debut at the Rampage Toys x Tru:Tek NYCC booth next month, expect full details on the release as we get closer to the event…

Following yesterday’s NYCC exclusive announcement, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed yet another new figure destined for release at the con- the Pea-Shooter Mobile! Fully compatible with the Gachapon Goblin micros (primarily the pictured Crazy Unicorn!), the 1″ tall figure has been hand sculpted by Jon, coming complete with a lipped turret design that can house the whole range of GG figure top halves. Initially making it’s debut at Superfestival 66 later in the month, expect both painted and blank versions at NYCC and online soon after. Killer Bootlegs have revealed that they’ll be teaming up with paper-cutting genius Sexual Youkai for their latest custom bootleg release! Whilst little is known about the untitled figure at present, it would appear that the 3.75″ tall piece has been kit-bashed from a variety of different vintage toys – including the head of Sectaur’s lead bad guy General Spidrax – coming cast in a glossy jet black resin and finished with a hand cut vinyl cape. Presumably to be released on a blistered backer with art from Sexual Youkai, we’ll be waiting with baited breath for full lowdown on this intriguing project soon…

Joe Merrill aka Splurrt has just revealed the latest sculpt in his upcoming Cadaver Balls micro series, the exposed brain Cadaver Skull! Coming in at around 1.5″ in diameter, the tiny capped sculpt will join the previously revealed Cadaver Kid Ball, featuring as part of a full figure release utilising a miniaturised CK body, as well as stand alone releases of the balls themselves. We’ve still no word of who’ll be producing these at the minute, or when, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the little guys will make their debut before the end of the year. Bob Conge aka Plaseebo kindly shares his contribution for Toy Art Gallery‘s upcoming 5th Anniversary Show, the “Toxic Candy” Vertebrata! One of many artists taking on the TAG-produced, BLObPUS x Paul Kaiju figure, the 9″ piece has been produced in a crystal clear soft vinyl, coming with both internal and external sprays and hand painted detailing, an exposed body filled with “toxic candy, GID spiders and such”, plus 2 motion activated LED units that illuminate from within. Touching down at the gallery alongside a whole host of other custom Vertebrata figures this Saturday, September 13th, expect any leftover pieces to head to the online store soon after…

Originally releasing in extremely limited numbers last year, Rick Dries aka PlasticPlayhouse’s awesome “Oot Keshi” figure has returned for one final outing! Based on the brain-like “Utrom” aliens in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – the most prolific of course being Krang – the originally sculpted figure features an aesthetic similar to Neca’s now cancelled TMNT series, opting for a minimal, stylised approach that’s also in-keeping with traditional keshi. Cast by none other than Eric Nilla in a one-off edition of 25, just 10 of the flesh-toned rubber mini figures remain, with PP currently offering them up either blank for $20, or painted (pictured) for just $25. Having teased an NYCC exclusive Yusei Majin right here last week, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just announced his line-up for the con in full! Teaming up with our very own Tru:Tek in a joint booth as part of the Tenacious Toys collective (booth #208), Jon will be offering up a number of OG Rampage toys, collaborative runs, figure debuts and one-off customs across all 4 days of the con. Ahead of a full reveal closer to the event, we bring you a quick rundown of exactly what’ll be on offer…
