DKE Toys have teamed up with none other than MuscleThings for their latest SDCC exclusive reveal, proudly presenting the Necro Klaw custom keshi! Featuring a digitally scanned rendition of the iconic M.U.S.C.L.E Claw figure, the sculpt has been subtly altered by MT, coming with additional detail on the face finger, a number of oozing wounds, as well as that all-seeing eye in the centre. Hand cast in the MuscleThings Laboratory using a flesh toned soft plastic, the Necro Klaw has been limited to an edition of 100, each packed in a resealable clamshell with backer art from MT. With Wonderfestival Summer ’14 coming up in just a couple of weeks time, the guys over at Zoomoth have just revealed the latest (and quite possibly greatest) 1 day license they’ve secured for the event, taking on Konami’s classic run-and-gun platformer Contra! Focussing on one of the game’s main protagonists Lance Bean, the cigar huffing commando has been perfectly realised in Zoomoth’s oversized keshi-scale, coming in at a super-detailed 2.5″ tall. Due to be produced in the now standard palette of flesh, red, green and blue, the rubber minis will be up for grabs at the Zoomoth Wonderfestival booth for around 3,000yen ($30) each- time to get a reliable toy mule sorted, or face those steep aftermarket prices!

Due to feature as one of the many handmade SDCC exclusives that’ll be up for grabs at the DKE Toys booth next month, the action figure scaled version of Egan’s popular Bones sofubi has been reduced and recast in resin courtesy of KB. Available in 3 different white-rubbed colourways, a pink, orange and black, each come packed on either a Star Wars, GI Joe or Adventure People themed double layered backer individually hand painted by Egan. Limited to just 20 in each colourway, the 3.75″ Series will be available from the DKE booth (#5045) for just $100 each once the con doors open on July 23rd…

The guys over at Goodleg Toys have teamed up with one of the founding fathers of the neo-vinatge action figure scene, Rob Hexevo, for their latest release, proudly presenting Turf Wars: Streets Warriors of Bad City! Heavily inspired by the scrolling beat ’em ups of the late 80’s/early 90’s, the ongoing series is set to feature a number of 2-pack “rival gang” releases, the first of which coming in the form of Denim Venom leader, Axle “Renegade” Trash, versus Rex Turbine, leader of the Street Machines. Hand cast in contrasting trans green and orange resin, the pair both feature 4 points of articulation, coming hand painted with a ton of super-detailed accessories. Originally announced here early last month, 8-Bit Zombie‘s hotly tipped THRASHOR 2.0 has finally been revealed in full! Marking a huge upgrade over the original resin release, the hilarious mash-up of MOTU and skate punk has been digitally sculpted by Shinbone Creative, coming styled in the classic 5.5″ action figure scale. Produced in a green vinyl this time around, the fully articulated figure has been treated to a simple black, blue white and grey paint app. Packaged on an authentic MOTU-styled vac formed blister card complete with working skateboard accessory, THRASHOR 2.0 has been limited to an edition of 300 pieces, coming in at $75 each. Joining the previously announced NEO JPN SFB, RESTORE have just revealed another all-new figure that they’ll be debuting at Wonderfestival later this month, the stunning DEBRIS BONE! Whilst NEO JPN is a soft vinyl interpretation of a previously released garage-kit, this figure, funnily enough, takes completely the opposite route, offering up an unassembled, resin cast set based on the skull of RESTORE’s signature sofubi, DEBRIS. Due to be making its debut at the event on July 27th, it would appear that 2 different versions will be up for grabs; a raw, unpainted set perfect for customisers and hobbyists alike, and a production edition, coming assembled and treated to a weathered bone finish. Paul Kaiju has just revealed details for this year’s off-site SDCC exclusive event, A Fistful of Dominoes! Hosted by Gunnzo in Old Town San Diego, the show is set to feature a whole slew of figure releases from the artist, including SDCC exclusive editions, character debuts (the pictured Domino Jack being one!) and a number of mystery surprises. Opening its doors on Friday, July 25th after the main convention floor closes, raffle tickets for all items will be distributed at 6pm, with a random drawing planned for 7.30pm.
