Devils Head Productions have teamed up with Splurrt for a limited run of Masked Digglers! Little has been announced so far, but judging by the attached pic the little guys are set to come cast up in a clear soft vinyl, complete with inside and out blue/purple sprays (plus metallic green chase), and a hand tied GID mask utilising the head of DHP’s ever popular, Splurrt sculpted, Alavaka. Said to be in the final stages of prep at the moment, expect full details on the release to surface over the next few days…

With Design Fiesta 39 opening its doors this weekend, Jon over at Rampage Toys has started to tease the huge selection of figures that’ll be up for grabs at his booth! Whilst a few big ticket items have been revealed so far, including a micro-run of MVH Ollies (just check out that hand painted eye!) and a custom of Yamomark’s latest figure, Cosmegira, it would appear that the main focus will be on Rampage’s self produced figures, with a whole slew of Gachapon Goblins prepped and ready (including the new Shaggy Unicorn!), alongside one of the very last Ugly Unicorn runs, the stunning GID/Pink Psychedelic Freakout edition.
Going on sale at the Rampage Toys x Fig-Lab x Refreshment booth (E167/168) this Saturday, May 17th, expect any remaining stock to make an appearance online at some point on Monday. Hiddy over at Secret Base has just revealed that the Spongebob X-Ray sofubi is making a return this weekend in all-new “Cherry Blossom” colourway! Cast in a clear soft vinyl with bone coloured skeletal insert, the figure comes in a gorgeous split-style paint app, with the vivd OG colours being replaced with a mix of pastel pink, baby blue and light brown sprays. Originally making its debut early last year, Leviathan‘s awesome Silent Hill inspired M.U.S.C.L.E custom, Pyramid Head, has returned for a limited artist proof run! Based on the cult videogame/film’s reoccurring monster of the same name, the figure has been ingeniously kit-bashed using M.U.S.C.L.E’s 104 and 107, coming with an additional stitched leather apron and sword sculpted in epoxy. Produced in an authentic keshi style rubber by Eric Nilla, the little guy is up for grabs in 2 exclusive colourways this time around, a neon orange and neon green, both limited to just 2 figures each. Revealing the awesome Double Think proto just a couple of week back (check it here), it came with great surprise today to find that artist TKOM has unveiled yet another of his creations making it’s way into sofubi production soon, the horned beast Demogorgon! Originally making an appearance back in January as part of a collaborative show with Sexual Yokai, the whopping 16″ tall sculpture has been scaled down for the transformation, featuring a much more balanced stance and tighter detailing than the already incredible original. Obviously still a long way off until it’s first outing, we will of course be bringing you guys any updates on this amazing figure as soon as we hear anything…

Originally teased back in February, NolanJP‘s follow up to last years breath-taking Split Kit custom mini figure is finally about to head into production! Now going by the name of Scary Larry, the beautifully sculpted piece draws inspiration from the work of legendary GPK artist John Pound (primarily his early Eerie Eric sketches), capturing his iconic 2D work in 3D form to a tee. Coming in considerably larger than Split Kit at around 2.5″ tall and almost the same wide, the extra scale has really helped Nolan to go to town on the figure, with the level of detail in particular a huge improvement over the already amazing Kit. Due to be heading into production under the watchful eye of our very own Tru:Tek at the DisArt Studios in the near future, expect details of the first release to follow soon…
