Having recently completed a number of one-off customs for Purple Toys, artist Ruinskung has been given the honour of reimagining their popular Agent Sayaraku sofubi as a classic 3.75″ action figure! The above picture of a perfectly scaled down 3-Eyed Tiger head is all we have to go on at the moment, but we’re guessing the figure will take a similar approach to the recently posted Nadsat Boy and NoFuture from Kenth Toy Works, coming hand cast in resin with articulation in the arms and legs. Max Toy Co are proud to reveal their latest officially licensed Ultraman figure, Ultra Nyan! Debuting at the next Tsuburaya Creative Jam 50 (celebrating 50 years of Tsuburaya Productions) at the Marui Store for Men in Shinjuku between April 26th and May 4th, the Makino-san (TTToys) sculpted figure comes cast in a GID soft vinyl with masked gold/red sprays and hand painted detailing. Unfortunately limited to Japan sales only due to licensing restrictions, those that are lucky enough to snap him up can expect to pay 4,860yen ($47)…

Joining the previously featured Pachi Man Keshi, Nama Niku are proud to reveal yet another exclusive they’ll have on offer at the Mitari/Gargamel Superfestival booth next weekend, Chopper Manzilla! Originally making a limited appearance earlier in the year for Clutter’s (In)Action Figure 2 show, the 3″ tall articulated rubbery beast returns, coming cast in a variety of one-off colour combinations courtesy of Eric Nilla. Mirock Toy have just unveiled their latest sofubi release just in time for Superfestival next weekend, the Meka Chibira-Kun set! Based on the iconic kids tokusatu Chibira-Kun, the fully licensed release features 3 characters from the show; Gakinko, GetData (PochiPochi) and of course Chibira, all reinterpreted in Mirock’s beautiful mechanised style (just check out the chibi riders sculpted in the chests!). News on the release is still scarce at present, although it looks as if the figures will be making their first appearance at the festival as a painted metallic run. Originally teased here way back in February, Kenth Toy Works are proud to reveal their return to resin with the release of the “Basic Wars” action figures! Featuring both of Kenth’s previous characters NoFuture and Nadsat Boy, the pair have been created using a 100% originally sculpted base platform (hopefully meaning more figures to come soon!), standing at the standard 3.75″ with 5 points of articulation. Due to be making their debut at Superfestival next Sunday, April 27th, the hand cast and painted figures should be available online soon after. Coming just in time for TMNT’s 30th Anniversary (and the release of a certain movie we can’t bring ourselves to mention here!), Goodleg Toys have teamed up with UK artist RICHT and the guys from Streets of Beige for the release of an all new resin action figure… Nobody Likes Leonardo! Heralded as the most toxic Turtles bootleg the world has ever seen, the wonderfully hideous creation has been kit-bashed from a Mexican 5.5″ Lucha and a Polish TMNT bootleg, coming hand casted in translucent neon-green resin, with 4 points of articulation, a sword, and packaging designed by RICHT. Originally pairing up for the release of Bunnywith Vintage Packaging back in October of last year, dream team Alex Pardee and Aaron Moreno of Retroband are proud to present their latest resin action figure in all it’s slithery glory… SNAKE EYES! Based on Pardee’s original recurring character of the same name, the jaw dropping GI Joe inspired release features a custom 3.75″ that has been re-sculpted, cast and painted by Moreno. Packed on a deluxe card backer with separately blistered eye accessories, each figure comes signed with 2 free 8×10 “Snake Eyes” giclee prints and an official pamphlet on the origin of the character. Limited to an edition of 45 pieces, Snake Eyes will be going on sale at the Zero Friends store today (4/20) at 1pm PST for an undisclosed sum…

Swiftly following the release of the NO GUTS, NO GLORY! slingshot earlier in the month, Ratking over at The PBKs is proud to reveal the collective’s next project, the Bammer Budski mini figures! Comprising of 2 little smoking buddies, an adorable Kush nugget and an equally as cute stoner sloth, the 2″ pieces were designed and sculpted by Ratking, coming cast in a variety of mixed one-off resin colourways including clears, opaques, GIDs and color changers. Celebrating the annual smokers holiday in style, the little guys will be dropping in the PBK store tomorrow (4/20) at 4.20pm Singapore time for just $35 a set plus shipping…

Brandon Barker over at ManOrMonster? Studios has just revealed a toy mash-up of epic proportions, proudly presenting the mighty GALAXXNAR! Combining the worlds of Ben Spencer’s Galaxxor and WoW, the stunning Bog-nar remake was kit-bashed and re-sculpted by none other than Monsterforge, coming cast by MoM? with the now standard neo-mag articulated joints. Pictured here as a blank black resin test shot, we’re told that the first painted run will be making it’s debut at the Nerd City C2E2 booth (750) next weekend, so be sure to stay tuned for a full reveal soon!

Having just revealed that they will be sharing a booth with the legendary Mitari and Gargamel at Super Festival 65 next weekend, the Nama Niku Wrestling Alliance are proud to present their latest figure, the incredible Pachi Man Keshi! Inspired by Gargamel’s Gacharoid Capsule Head Robots and the early 80’s Gacha Gacha Man Kinkeshi knockoff, the little guy has been kit-bashed by Nama from a variety of vintage keshi figures, coming complete with a fully removable gacha capsule head with micro figure and insert nestled inside, a custom penny wrestling belt, plus a miniaturised quarter mounted on the back! Teased here a couple of weeks back, Healeymade is proud to reveal that his latest collaboration with the Sucklord, “The Essence of Vectar”, will be touching down in-store today (4/19) at 3pm EST! Making past appearances as a Glyos mini, a Kickstarter incentive 8″ Mego, and most recently, a M.U.S.C.L.E styled figure for S.U.C.K.L.E, the Sucklord’s arch nemesis, Vectar, finally arrives in 3.75″ scale, coming cast in a solid black resin with hand painted metallic purple mask and studded arm bands. Limited to an edition of 25 pieces this time around, the figure is set to come bagged with custom header art from Sucklord Vectar for just $50 each plus shipping… Said to be the first in an ongoing series of companion portrait figures, expect the likes of Skinner and Mishka to join in on the action soon!

We’ll FINALLY be returning to our regular news posts tomorrow (thanks for your patience over the last few days guys!), but first we bring you a mini report on the hottest new toy joint in the UK… Walthamstow’s Toy Shack! Brainchild of Triclops Studio‘s Luc and Rob Clops, the incredible space recently opened it’s doors at the Wood Street Indoor Market in North London, catering to both children and adults alike with one of the most impressive collections of 80s/90s/00s classics and obscurities we’ve ever had the luck to stumble across.
Featuring the likes of iconic gross-out lines Toxic Crusaders, Food Fighters and Madballs, rare knock-offs including the Sungold Monsters and Pocket Beasts, sought after minis such as Wrestlers In My Pocket, Mini Boglins and Body Wars, plus a number of the guys’ own products from their illustrious time in the industry, the mesmerising shop offers a fascinating insight into the Triclops aesthetic, and more importantly, shows the poor, toy starved kids of today how good things used to be!
Open most weekdays from 10am right through to 5.30pm, anyone in the area with even the remotest interest in the golden age of toys is going to need to take a trip over at some point- and those that aren’t? Ahead of returning to our regular postings next week, we’re proud to reveal a very important event in our store tomorrow… the Tru:Tek/Disarticulator post-ToyCon sale! Featuring all of the figures we’ve revealed throughout the past few days, keshi, glyos and madball fans alike are going to be in their element with the likes of the Tanklopula, Pachi Gacha Machine, and of course the Triclops x Disarticulator “Rip(p)er Red” Rotten Tomato ball all up for grabs… Dropping in the Man-E-Toys store this Monday, April 14th at 8pm London time, we suggest heading over prompt to avoid disappointment as many of these figures will never see another run again!

With just one day until the big event, the Disarticulators have teamed up with the fine chaps over at Triclops Studio to present their final ToyCon UK exclusive, the Rotten Tomato Ball! Designed by Triclops, sculpted by Zectron and produced in a urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the 3″ round figure has been inspired by Dr Gangreen’s killer fruit (or is that vegetable?!), drawing influences from neo-kaiju, the gross-out art of the 80’s and AMToys’ iconic Madball figures to realise the hideous beast you see above… Debuting at ToyCon in both “Rip(p)er Red” and “Green Meanie” colourways (including 2 one-off extra rotten chases!) priced at £45 a piece, these will also be joined by a number of one-off casts and Rampage handpaints that will be revealed on the day. Touching down at both Rampage Toys x Disarticulator and Tarantulas’ booths come opening time tomorrow, expect details of online sales to follow next week…

Alongside the numerous releases at the Rampage x Disarticulator ToyCon UK booth this weekend, we’re very proud to announce an exclusive that won’t be available at the table… the Collect & Display Oozeball sets! Teaming up with the online retailer for the very first time, the Disarticulators have created a limited batch of just 6 balls with matching claw display stands, each coming cast in C&D’s signature black and gold colourway. Dropping at the Collect & Display booth this Saturday, April 12th, the sets have been priced at £22 a piece… Stay tuned for our final reveal (the big one) tomorrow!

Whilst we’ve unfortunately had to cease regular posting as we get ready for ToyCon UK on Saturday (we’ll be back next week!), we do still have a few Tru:Tek/Disarticulator exclusives that we’ll be revealing over the next few days, the first of which coming in the form of these “Color Change” Madballs of Death! One of the last chances to bag this incredible design from Zectron, the 2″ ball has been cast up by Tru:Tek in a marbled mix of thermal color changing pigments, complete with matching “parasite” insert nestled inside. Limited to an edition of just 6 unique casts, these will be up for grabs at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulator ToyCon booth (#16), priced at £28 each…
