Following yesterday’s look at Kappa Shonen and Ace Robo, Comet Debris have just revealed the latest figure to land a ToyCon UK exclusive colorway, Tokoji Seijin! Coming cast in a GID soft vinyl with stunning purple and pink sprays, the 6″ tall beastie has been limited to an edition of just 10 pieces. Coming in at £55 a pop, Tokoji Seijin will be up for grabs at the CD booth (#41) next Saturday, April 12th from 9am… Stay tuned for more reveals soon!

Hot off the heals of the Shadowmen of Ba’Renard release last week, Kyle Kirwan has just revealed details of the fourth figure in the ongoing Mudcat series, the mischievous Yohlo Mesh! Standing at around 2.25″ tall and coming with articulation in the neck, the hand sculpt and cast resin figure will be making his debut in a cool purple colorway alongside a super-limited grey-scale version too. Limited to an edition of 50 this time around, Yohlo will be touching down in Kirwan’s store this Tuesday, April 8th for $25 plus shipping…

MAN-E-NEWS// The “Junk Truck” Micro B.A.S.T.A.R.D from Triclops Studio…

Following our exclusive reveal of mega-collaboration Tanklopula yesterday, the guys over at Triclops Studio have unveiled yet another exclusive figure they’ll be carting along to ToyCon UK next Saturday, the “Junk Truck” Micro B.A.S.T.A.R.D! As with the previously featured “Dum-Dum”, the tiny little guy has been created from a mix of original sculpting and mini figure mashing, resulting in one seriously pumped little guy- in both the bicep and trouser department it would seem! Coming cast in a mix of marbled resins for the release, the limited batch of just 5 Junk Trucks will be ups for grabs at the Tarantulas booth in the morning and the Unbox booth from 2pm onwards. All left overs will be up for sale online in the B.A.S.T.A.R.D store shortly afterwards…

Teased here earlier in the week, Angel Abby‘s exclusive Cosmo Knight Alpha “MOON” sofubi has just touched down in-store! Produced by Target Earth, the latest version of the “Le Voyage dans la lune” inspired figure is up for grabs in 2 contrasting colorways; “Ocean”, coming cast in a yellow soft vinyl with aqua sprays and red rocket, and “Lava”, also coming in yellow, complete with orange sprays and blue rocket. Up for grabs in the Angel Abby store right here, the pair have been priced at $100 each plus shipping…

MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The ToyCon UK exclusive Tanklopula keshi revealed…

Joining the slew of exclusive kaiju, sofubi and keshi that’ll be up for grabs at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulators ToyCon UK booth next Saturday, our very own Tru:Tek is proud to reveal the resurrection of one of the craziest ever resin figures in keshi form… the mighty Tanklopula! The brainchild of Triclops, Jesse Destasio and The Tarantulas, the Rampage sculpted mini figure features signature elements from all 3 artists, including tentacles, a Nibbler chest piece and Tankhead turret- all coming fitted with fully interchangeable, 100% Glyos compatible joints. Originally making a very limited appearance back in 2011, the latest (and most likely final) run has been produced in a urethane rubber courtesy of Tru:Tek, with the batch of 15 each coming in a special one-off colorway inspired by a wide variety of 80s and 90s pop culture. Touching down exclusively at the Rampage/DA booth (#16) come opening time at 9am, Tanklopula has been priced at £35 a piece. MAN-E-NEWS// ToyCon UK exclusive Kappa Shonen and Ace Robo from Comet Debris…

Following our look at the the “Early Bird” edition Sametan earlier in the week, Koji Harmon over at Comet Debris has just revealed another 2 exclusives that’ll be up for grabs at ToyCon UK next Saturday, April 12th! First up we have the return of Kappa Shonen… As previously teased, the 5″ tall figure has been cast up in a clear green this time around, coming with masked purple, blue, green, yellow, white and black sprays. Edition size on the piece is still to be revealed, but we can confirm they’ll be up for grabs at booth #41 for £40 each…

Next up, we have a limited run of Ace Robo! Coming cast in a bright yellow soft vinyl with black and grey sprays inspired by Yo Gabba Gabba’s Plex, the adorable ‘bot has been limited to just 10 this time around, coming in at just £40 a piece… Stay tuned for more CD reveals over the next few days!

MAN-E-UPDATE// Kalaka Toys’ The Teenage Riot Figures…

Originally featured here a couple of weeks back, it would appear that Matias over at Kalaka Toys has been working on a whole army of new Teenage Riot Figures for a fully fledged release soon! Loving tributes to both 80′s/90′s toy culture and neo-kaiju, the crazy looking custom figures have been fashioned from 14″ KO TMNTs and bootleg Madballs, complete with Nag-style locks, lashings of neon sprays, hand painted chest pieces, plus real metal neck chains. Due to go on sale at the soon to be opened Kalaka Toys store, keep a close eye on the artist’s IG feed here for exact release details soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// The ToyCon Uk exclusive “Flocked Dropleaf” INC. from Mintyfresh x Instinct Toy…

Joining the previously posted Debris Japan sofubi, Mintyfresh have unveiled their latest exclusive to be unleashed at ToyCon UK next week, teaming up with Instinct Toy for a special “Flocked Dropleaf” edition of their flagship figure, INC! Coming double cast in a breathtaking, semi-translucent bright green vinyl with white flocked nose, mouth and claws. Limited to an edition of 50, the figure will be up for grabs at the Mintyfresh booth next Saturday, April 12th for £95 a pop… But that’s not all! Joining the flocked version, the guys have also secured a GID Dropleaf for online release! Also limited to 50, details on the release are to follow soon…

As if last week’s Unchipocalypse release wasn’t enough, Paul Kaiju has just revealed that another surprise batch of Unchiman kaiju will be up for grabs this weekend! Produced in a thirst inducing transparent “Rootbeer” brown soft vinyl this time around, the 8.5″ tall figures will be unleashed in super-rare unpainted form, coming in at just $90 each plus shipping. Look out for the undisputed king of kaiju poo in the Paul Kaiju store this Sunday, April 6th at Noon PST…

D-Lux has just revealed the latest custom to hit his webstore, the stunning “Split Bi-Camo” Kaiju Eyezon! Standing at 10″ tall, the Max Toy produced figure has been given D-Lux’s standard retina melting workout, this time coming in a “split down the middle” mix of metallic teal, metallic pink, baby teal, lavender, black and gold sprays. Currently residing in-store right here, the figure has been priced at just $150 shipped in the US…

Gearing up for Easter later this month, Healeymade has just revealed that a special seasonal version of FOWL will be up for grabs this weekend! Kit-bashed from a variety of undisclosed vintage action figures, the sinister looking birdman stands at around 4″ tall, coming cast in a contrasting “Tweety” yellow with black and orange hand painted detailing. Due to come packed in a tinsel filled basket exclusively for the release, the creepy, yet strangely cute creatures will be up for grabs in the Healeymade store at some point this Saturday, April 4th. MAN-E-NEWS// MVH’s “Midnight Hunter” Berserker lottery details…

After little over a year since we first saw the finished proto, Rich Montanari Jr over at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore is proud to finally present the first official Berserker release, the Midnight Hunter! Standing at a lofty 13.5″, the massive beast has been cast in a Tiffany blue soft vinyl, painted in a wide variety of greens, reds, purples, blues, black and silver to form one of the most insanely complex painted runs we’ve ever witnessed. Kicking the release off with a bang, Rich has also revealed that the main release will also be joined by a chase version, as well as a few one-offs and reconfigured test paints- all coming complete with both severed head and spiked ball/chain omake, plus an exclusive header with art work from Lightning swords of Death front man, Farron Loathing! So, to the important part, the release details… Touching down on the MVH site via lottery for a 24 hour period starting this Friday, April 4th at 12am EST, the lucky few selected for purchasing are going to need to hand over $185 plus shipping to secure the figure. Good luck to all who enter- you’re certainly going to need it if the 400+ entries for the previous lottery are anything to go by!

MAN-E-UPDATE// Rampage Toys at ToyCon UK…

With little over a week away now until the big event, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the gargantuan selection of vinyl he’ll be carting along to ToyCon- starved UK kaiju and sofubi collectors be warned, you’re likely to be leaving the booth penniless and wanting more! Joining the previously teased Usir and Monoclon micro-runs, a number of other figures have been confirmed so far, including a pair of one-off Yusei Majins from Longneck, Rampage MVH customs (including the beautiful pictured DX!), Ugly Unicorn x Nibbler mash-ups with matching micros, plus an exclusive “Red” run of Splurrt’s Lab Mice… All to be released through the Rampage x Disarticulator booth (#16), pricing, edition sizes and drop times are all still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for more details soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// Triclops Studio’s “Dum-Dum” Micro B.A.S.T.A.R.D proto revealed…

Joining the “Killer Tomatoes” Disarticulator collab revealed last week (more on that later this week!), the guys over at Triclops Studio have just revealed the first of a whole slew on new B.A.S.T.A.R.D figures planned for ToyCon UK next week, the adorable Dum-Dum! The first in the guys’ sub-line of micro-sized figures, the Boglin inspired piece appears to have been sculpted on top of a dummy bullet, standing at little over 1″ tall. Pictured here as a fully primed proto ready for casting, we’ll be on the lookout for a full reveal over the next couple of days. Keep track of the Triclops blog here for more details soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// Motorbot Mecha Brain CKs and unpainted black Usirs from Splurrt…

Only making a limited number of appearances since it’s debut over a year ago, it came with great pleasure today to find that Splurrt‘s Mecha Brain Cadaver Kid will be returning for an all-new micro run courtesy of Motorbot! Cast in a black soft vinyl with numerous neon sprays, hand painted detailing and figure hugging rubs, the gruesome little guy will be touching down in the Splurrt store this Sunday, April 6th at Noon EST for just $60 a piece… But that’s not all! Joining the Mecha Brains, Splurrt will also be unleashing a limited batch of unpainted Usirs. Cast in a glossy black this time around, the figure has been priced at $50 plus shipping… If previous blank releases are anything to go by, we suggest working out that F5 finger in preparation- these are likely to disappear in seconds!

“Crystal Mecha invasion imminent, destruction of Earth certain!”

After narrowly avoiding certain doom at the X-Hands of the Terror of Crystal Mecha, the colossal mecha-kaiju has returned intent on finishing the job! Designed/sculpted by Brian Flynn and produced by Super7, the latest version of the 9″ tall crystal headed beast has been cast in an opaque grey glitter vinyl with metallic green, gun-metal black and light blue sprays, replete with a translucent vinyl dome with metallic silver and blue accents. Touching down in the Super7 store this Thursday, April 3rd at Noon PST, Crystal Mecha “Destrustion of Earth” edition has been priced at $95 plus shipping…

The guys over at Europe’s leading toy emporium Minty Fresh have just started to reveal the jaw-dropping selection of goodies they’ll be carting along to ToyCon UK next Saturday, April 12th, the first coming in the form of these exclusive Debris Japan sofubi from Restore! Once again up for grabs in 2 different colourways; an unpainted “SFB Blue” and the absolutely stunning “SFB” Glaciation”, both come complete with a number of different accessories for just £45 and £90 respectively. Due for release at the Minty Fresh booth come opening time at 9am, edition size is still to be revealed, so to con goers we suggest heading over early to avoid disappointment!

With their “Stage 4” version of Elegab’s Zubora dropping in-store this Saturday (find out more here), Angel Abby have wasted no time in revealing their next exclusive release, Target Earth‘s Cosmo Knight Alpha! Whilst details are still thin on the ground at the moment, it would appear that the “Le Voyage dans la lune” inspired figure will be coming in a lighter paint app than previous releases, with the above b/w image suggesting either a white or yellow base.
