Returning from the depths of obscurity nearly 30 years since the Great Tomato War, the evil Dr P.T.Gangreen has enlisted the twisted minds of both Triclops and The Disarticulators to realise his most disturbing creation yet… the Killer Tomato Ball! Currently undergoing cloning for a full-scale invasion at ToyCon UK in April, the attached image is all we have to go on at present, but judging by the size of those teeth and the dead look in that eye, only the most dedicated toy collector should even attempt to go near these crazed fruit (or is it vegetable?!) based creatures… Expect more news from the doctor as we all near our impending doom on April 12th!
MAN-E-NEWS// Triplikid’s Mini Mirth figure revealed…
Triplikid has just revealed that his adorable resin figure Mirth will be making an appearance in mini figure form soon! Designed by Triplikid and digitally sculpted by the guys at Mana Studios, the little guy originally debuting at NYCC last year as a full sized resin figure, with this new addition being shrunk down to a M.U.S.C.L.E scaled 2.5″ tall. Due to be produced once again by Mana, we’re told to expect Mini Mirth in the Triplikid store in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for full release details as soon as we get them!
MAN-E-NEWS// M.O.O.N’s Moon Goon sculpt revealed…
The holy trinity of western kaiju, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, Paul Kaiju and Splurrt, have teamed up to form M.O.O.N (Men Of Ominous Nature) for a whole slew of new collaborative figures, the first coming in the form of the humungous Moon Goon… The brainchild of Paul Kaiju, the monstrous 12″ tall figure features three different sides that have been separately sculpted and designed by the trio, each said to come with their own unique backstory. Release is obviously a long way off yet (we still have their first round of collaborations to come first!), so be sure to keep a close eye on all 3 IG feeds (MVH, Kaiju, Splurrt) for more news over the coming months…

Revealed here yesterday, Mike Sutfin has since revealed full details on the upcoming MadBattleMen release, including the surprise addition of a matching BattleRat too! Both cast up in a GID soft vinyl, the pair have been given a subtle soapstone style paint rub with minimal hand painted detailing. Packed in a custom box with an exclusive signed, numbered and stamped 6.75″ x 6.5″ giclee print “Creeping Aphoticsize”, both MadBattleMen and BattleRat will be touching down in the Sutfin store this Thursday, March 20th at 2.30pm EST, priced at just $98 plus shipping…

Healeymade has revealed that he will be returning to his highly popular bootleg mini figure series soon, proudly presenting the fourth and fifth instalments to the Muscle/Mask saga! Meticulously kit-bashed from a variety of undisclosed vintage M.U.S.C.L.E and M.A.S.K figures (we won’t ruin it by telling you guys this time!), the as yet untitled duo stand at around 2″ tall each, coming cast in a stunning purple tinted resin for these initial test pulls. Word on their release is still to be confirmed at the moment, but we’ll be hedging our bets that they debut in the Healeymade store over the next couple of months…

Brian Mahony aka GUUMON has teamed up with Kaiju Monster for a special “Titanium” micro run of SLAVExONE’s Gero! Standing at around 7″ tall, the crazy slab of neo-kaiju has been given the signature GUUMON workout, coming complete with layer upon layer of contrasting metallic Monster Kolor sprays. Pricing and edition size are still to be announced at the moment, but we can confirm that the figure will be touching down in the Kaiju Monster store at some point this Thursday, March 20th. Luke Chueh has just revealed that his entry into the recent S.U.C.K.L.E mini figure series, “Sad… Broken.. Alone…”, will be receiving an artist proof run soon! Originally created as 3.75″ bootleg for 2012’s Super Suck-Up show, the figure was miniaturised by George Gaspar for the Sucklord’s M.U.S.C.L.E inspired line, going on to be offered up as 1 of 5 extra “stretch goal” figures for Kickstarter backers. Coming hand painted in a similar mix black, silver, red and yellow as the original release, Sad… Broken… Alone… is due to come packed on a similarly borrowed card back design. Cast up in a crystal clear soft vinyl for the release, the 5″ tall figures have been treated to a number of sprays by Jon, both inside and out, coming complete with “mystery” guts and some insanely tight hand painted detailing (just check out those eyes!). Frank Kozik has just revealed that the long awaited Hateball sofubi will finally be seeing the light of day soon! Sculpted by Klim at Bigshot Toyworks and produced by Grody Shogun, 2 different sizes have been planned; a stand alone version that has been designed to fit MISHKA’s Bootlegs (presumably the above) and another smaller version that is due to be making an appearance as part of a new, full figure later in the year. Skinner has just unveiled his first fully sculpted toy release, the super creepy Cave Crawler! Developed alongside producer Hiro Hayashi, the dungeon dwelling arachnid has been cast in a flexible rubber-like resin, coming with a stop-motion style wire armature incased inside each leg for full poseability. Dry brushed in a mix of green, red and black, fitted with real fresh water pearl eyes and coated in a hearty layer of wet slime sheen, the 8″ x 4.5″ piece comes housed in a custom made box that even doubles up as a dungeon diorama for the figure! Limited to an edition of just 15 for this first outing, the Cave Crawlers will be heading to the Critical Hit store this Wednesday, March 19th for $100 each plus shipping…

Teased here last week, BLObPUS‘ version of Jet Turre’s Hormorah kaiju has just been revealed as part of the artist’s latest open-run Battle Set! Joined by BLObPUS’ own Raoh figure, the towering combatants stand at around 9.5″ each, with the “Sumptuous Feast” Hormarah coming in a GID soft vinyl with vivid blue and red sprays, and the “Hell Flame” Raoh in a black vinyl with layers of red hot metallics. Debuting back in January, Star Case have just revealed that Scum Hunter is set to return in an all-new blue colourway! Inspired by Star Wars’ Boba Fett, the latest addition to the Space Convoy features the same air-dried, pachi-styled sculpting that we’ve all come to know and love, coming complete with removable mask, both droid and Han Solo heads, plus a mystery General Grievous bonus thrown in for good measure! Established art toy emporium 3D Retro have just revealed that they will be entering the world of keshi with a mini-sized version of their logo mascot robot! Originally designed by Brandt Peters, the vintage steampunk styled character has been wonderfully realised in a 2″ scale courtesy of George Gaspar, with a number of full PVC production runs (including the pictured blue and green) planned for the near future.
